Today we are going to learn A and B. / 오늘은 A와 B를 배울 거란다.

Here is a card. What do you see? / 여기 카드가 있어. 무엇이 보이니?
I see an apple and there is a letter on it. / 사과와 글자가 하나 있네.
This is the big A. A is for apple. / 이건 대문자 A란다. Apple은 A로 시작하지.
Trace the big A, please. / 대문자 A를 따라 써 보자. (마커 혹은 손가락으로 따라 쓴다)
Turn the card over. / 카드를 뒤집어 보자.
He is an astronaut. And this is the small a. / 우주 비행사가 있어. 그리고 이건 소문자 a란다.
A is for astronaut. / Astronaut는 A로 시작하지.
Can you trace the small a? / 소문자 a를 따라 쓸 수 있겠어? (마커 혹은 손가락으로 따라 쓴다)

Do you know what letter it is? / 이건 무슨 글자 인 것 같아?
This is the big B! / 이건 대문자 B란다.
What is this? It’s a book. / 이건 뭐야? 책이로구나.
B is for book. / Book은 B로 시작하지.
And this is the small b. / 그리고 이건 소문자 b란다.
B is for butterfly! / Butterfly는 B로 시작해.

We are going to learn the sound of A and B. / 오늘은 A와 B의 소리에 대해 배워 볼 거란다.

Look at this picture. What do you see? / 이 그림을 보렴. 무엇이 보이니?
There are ants on an apple. / 사과 위에 개미가 있네.
Look! Here is a letter. / 봐! 여기 글씨가 있어.
What letter is this? This is the big A. / 이게 무슨 글씨니? 이건 대문자 A야.
There is the small a, too. Can you find it? / 소문자 a도 있네. 찾을 수 있겠니?

A makes the /a/, /a/, /a/ sound. / A는 /a/, /a/, /a/ 소리를 내.

[준비물] 볼풀공 여러개, 털실, 스카치 테이프, 마커, 바구니 2개, 우산
[활동개요] 바구니에 각각 A와 B라고 적어 놓는다.
볼풀공에 마커로 a와 b라고 각각 적고 스카치테이프로 털실을 연결한다.
볼풀공 털실의 다른 끝을 스카치 테이프로 천장에 살짝 붙인다.
우산을 이용해 각 대문자에 알맞은 소문자 볼풀공을 따 바구니에 넣는다.
We have two baskets. / 여기 바구니가 두 개 있구나.
One is for A and the other is for B. / 하나는 A 용, 또 다른 하나는 B용이야.
We have to pick the letter apples using this umbrella. / 글자 사과를 이 우산을 이용해서 따야 해.
Where is the small a? / 소문자 a가 어디에 있지?
Pick the small a apples and put them into the A basket. / 소문자 a 사과를 따서 A 바구니에 넣자.
What letter is this? It’s the small a! / (사과를 딴 후) 이게 무슨 글자야? 소문자 a구나.
