Hi everyone!
It's great to see you again!
I am finally going back to U.S. today and I am very sad. I will miss my family, friends, relatives, and my country.
The biggest concern is that I have to continue my busy life there in U.S.
I am a little bit afraid that if I would be able to finish my junior year well.

Back to the book, I thik this book about Renoir was more interesting than that of Edgar Degas.
And there are some art history about the impressionists as well.

Ryan6 잠깐 여행을 다녀오는 바람에 많이 늦어졌습니다 한번 늘어지다보니 제자리로 돌아오기가 힘드네요 다시 한번 초심으로 돌아갑니다^^

혼자 다했다고 하는 워크시트가 엄마 맘에 안들었어요.

모르는 어휘를 좀 더 잘 챙겨 책의 내용을 꼼꼼하게 이해하게 하고 싶어서 엄마랑 시간 맞는 날 틈틈히 했어요. 흰 종이의 빈칸에 적는 것보단 노트에 알록달록 어휘 정리하는 게 더 재미있다 그러네요.  서너번씩 본문 읽으며 이해하니 뿌듯한가봐요. 시간이 꽤 걸렸지만.. 다음 미션부터는 제때 할 수 있겠다 그러네요. 책 대충 읽고 듣고 한꺼번에 흰 종이 채우는 게 아니란 걸 꺠달았죠.

우리보다 훨씬 더 벅찬 하루를 보내는 알렉스 선생님께 많이 늦어 죄송하네요.

초2 엘리 좀 늦은감이 있지만 올립니다 아직 쓰기가 익숙하지 못하지만 책은 재미있어합니다 책에 가장 인상깊은 부분이 르누아르가 73세때 세계 제1차대전이 났는거라해서 으음 울어야할지 웃어야할지 잠시 멍했습니다 하하

르노와르 재밌게 읽었는데 헉~ 미션지는 휑하네요^^

단어찾기도 힘들다고 놓고 흘려듣고 집듣하고 읽기까지만 했어요.

그림들이 예뻐서 그림이야기하면서 미션끝냅니다.

다음엔 단어도 좀 챙겨보도록 할게요^^

제가 미션 수행날짜를 잘못 알아서 드가 미션지 제출이 늦었습니다.

죄송합니다. 늦었지만 르느와르 미션지와 함께 제출합니다.

사진 갯수 줄이다 보니, 드가 미션지 중에 하나는 르느와르와 같이 찍었습니다.

알렉스 샘~ 앞으로는 성실히 할게요~

엄마가 늑장 부려서 그랬으니 이해해주세요^^

애린이도 4번정도 듣고 읽었습니다.

이번에도 지난번처럼 12기 미션에서 한가지빼고 알렉스쌤 미션중에서 한가지를 넣었는데 영어로 쓰기

힘들다고 해서 못했습니다.

애린이는 이번기회에  좋은책 듣고 읽는것 위주로 하려고요..

Especially I liked the way you answered for the very first question with some detailed information about Renoir. While most people just say because he is famous, you mentioned how great a painter he was and how famous he was. I appreciate your effort.

르느와르의 그림을 보면서 아이도 저도 즐거웠습니다.

스마트 어바웃 시리즈 하면서 계속 즐거울 것 같아요 ^^

 

알렉스 샘께서 힘들고 어려운 시기에도 이렇게 저희를 위해 봉사해 주시는 부분 너무 감사하게 생각합니다.

늘 건강하시고, 하시는 일 다 잘되도록 기도드릴게요.....

 

이번에 북클럽 포맷이 살짝 바뀌었는데, 저는 요게 더 맘에 들어요.

내용을 묻는 질문과 아이의 생각을 묻는 질문이 혼합되어 있는 것도 좋고,

내용과 아이의 생각을 연관지은 질문도 좋구요~~~

I think your answer for the second question interesting.
I don't want to take this topic too serious but I think what matter is how you define freedom.
When I was young, I liked to be free from my parents and do whatever I want.
But as I grow up, I realized that appropriate combination of freedom and rule is the only way to prevent the chaos.
I definitely think you are the one who knows well how to balance the two, listening to your parents and also knowing how to enjoy your freedom. But when you grow up, you will probably figure out the real importance of balance.
Thank you for suggesting a very interesting topic to have a short idea-sharing.

초4 Ryan 맘입니다.

이번주 Ryan이 감기몸살로 많이 아파서 숙제 간신히 했어요.

그래도 알랙스 형이 보고있다고 하니 열심히 했답니다.

화가에 대한 지식이 좀 부족해서 한글로 된 르느아르 , 모네, 드가 책도 함께 읽어서 이해하는데

초5 Kate 이번주는 제가 너무 정신이 없어서 책이 바뀐것도 모르고 Monet 책을 읽게하고는 북클럽 미션지를 줬다가 스머페트^^ 오빠 Harry한테 혼나고^^ Renoir 다시 줬어요 에고 저희는 방학이 좀지나야 엄마도 Kate도 여유가 생길것 같아요 ㅜㅜ 다른 친구들 글도 자세히 보게하고 직접 올릴 수 있도록 해볼께요 사실 진짜 정신없고 바쁜건 Alex쌤인디 엄살이 심했네요

I first want to apologize about changing the book order and confusing you.
I did not know that you all already set the order and since I felt the need to arrange the order, I just made up the new one. It will be confusing for everyone to change the book order again so let's just go for this order if you don't mind.
I think even though you probably didn't have enough time to completely read and understand the book, you did pretty well!
But I can tell that you didn't have enough time from the short answers...
It's alright and just try to make your work better next time.
The quality of your work is still great.

First, great job on your assignment. Your work does answer all the questions correctly and I appreciate your help!
Especially I agree to your answer for the second question that Renoir's parents' not scold him for scribbling on the wall is pretty impressive. If I had done that when I was young, my parents would have scolded me.
But I am concerned that if you are really enjoying these books and assignments because you said you didn't really like the book because it was all about the painters whom you are not interested in.
I understand your feeling because I was one of a kind who didn't like art, but try to enjoy the book because reading books that you don't like and answering questions without any excitement is neither beneficial to your learning nor fun to do.
Hope you change your mind a little bit and keep it up!!

이번주엔 Alice가 좀 바빠서 과제 하는데 농땡이(?)를 부렸어요 혼자하게 뒀더니 너무 대충 해놔서 같이 다시 책을 읽고 내용도 다시 짚어봤어요 아직은 impressionist나 기존 미술사조에 대한 이해는 쉽지 않았나봐요

초2 쏘피입니다 책은 무리없이 잼있게 읽어내려가는데...생각을 정리해 써내려가는건 아무래도 수월치 않네요. 역시 모국어랑 같이 가는가봐요^^ 부담없이 아이나 저나 참여하고 싶어 참여한 북클럽인큼 좀 부족함이 보이고 참견하고 싶더라도 그냥 스스로 쓰기 한거에 일단 만족해야할 것 같아요. 언니들 글 보는것만도 참 좋네요 모두들 편안한 주말 보내세요~

Next time, take a picture from nearer place so that your nicely done work can be more magnified.

 알렉스 그렇게 중요한 시기에 이렇게 북클럽 신경 써줘서 고마워요. 더 열심히 해야겠다는 생각이 드네요. 좋은 결과 있으시길 바랄께요~^^

 울 메리가 지난번 Edgar Degas보다 좀 어려워한 것 같네요. 하지만, Renoir의 그림과 생애를 알게되어 매우 흥미있었다고 합니다. 이번 미션을 통해 화가들에 대해 알고, 그 화가의 인생을 통해 그림을 이해할 수 있게 되어 기쁩니다.

 아직 영작이 서툴러 미션은 책을 찾아보며 베껴적는 위주로 했네요. 앞으로 알렉스와 17기 멤버들의 도움으로 많은 발전을 기대해 봅니다~^^
