It is great to see you again!!!

How was your week everyone?

I, unfortunately, failed to make state cut on Tuesday... I got exactly same time on Tuesday as last time which made me pretty depressed... But yesterday, which is Saturday for me, I cut my time a lot about 0.8 seconds and I am now 0.6 seconds off from the state cut. This Saturday, I have a prep league, which is the last chance I can try out for the state cut. I think this time I can really make it because I can get a lot of rest on Friday and also am going to do taper for whole week. Still, I need some cheers from you so please wish me to make state cut!

 

This book about ballet was very different from the former books because it was not about any artist. But I think it was still very interesting. Also, whether you noticed or not, as soon as we finish this book, we finish exactly half of Smart About series. Already.

I checked your assignments about Picasso and I was very happy and satisfied about most of your works. They, as I emphasized, had a lot of specific and proper reasons supporting your ideas. I was so happy about your improvement. Let's try to keep this great quality on this week's assignment as well!!!

집듣하면서 내용을 재밌게 듣고 있어요.

쓰기는 듣기와 달라서 매번 1-2줄에 끝나네요^^

잘쓰는 친구들보면 부러울 법도 한데 요즘은 그냥 말부터 단답형이라.....ㅋㅋ

엊저녁 눈 내리는 거리를 떠나려 하질 않아서... 신나서 강아지처럼 뛰노는 걸 차마 말릴 수가 없어서,...ㅎ

하루 늦어졌네요.

알렉스샘도 기분좋은 주말 보냈기를요-  결과가 어떻든 뭔가에 목표를 두고 온 힘을 다해 노력한다는 건 참 신나는 일이죠.

이번주제는 벤자민의 관심분야가 아니었답니다.

전혀~~

하지만 그래도 나름 잘 보긴했지만, 역시 발레공연 한번 안보여준것이 좀 미안해지더군요~

나중에 저도 아이들과 발레보러가고파요~

누가 초대권 주면 좋겠당....ㅎㅎ

벤자민 여동생? 누나?도 발레복이 좋아서 발레를 좋아했군요. Anna도 발레복에 반해서 한동안 발레선생님의 수제자였답니다. ㅋ 선생님이 하는 공연도 열심히 쫓아다니구요.

You are the first one to focus on the emotions of audience. Nice and creative ideas.
Also you picked a remarkable difference between the costumes of ballerinas and that of ballerinos, which is very impressive as well.
I enjoyed your work because your work contained many ideas that are different from that of others. Still, they make perfect sense.

First, don't worry because you will still see me after this book. I almost 100 percent sure that you will see me until July.
Your last answer is very creative and impressive. No one so far has focused on the costumes and the dancers' actions. I am very happy to see this because it is creative and purely your idea. Great work.

Your last answer is fresh. I haven't thought about the fact that ballet has no dialogues.
But what do you think it is that helps people to understand the story? And why do you think ballet is graceful and lovely? Thinking about these questions will help your further understanding of ballet.
Other answers are in pretty good shape!

Alex, 토요일에  좋은 성과 있었나요? 그랬길 바래요~~

Alice는 오늘 간신히 과제 마쳐서 올려요. 주말에 할머니 첫 기일이어서 다녀 오느라 좀 바빴네요.

글씨 좀 정성들여 이쁘게 쓰라고 매번 얘기하는데 덤벙대는 성격이 그대로 드러나는 필체에요..;;;

Alice가 유치원 다닐때 발레를 몇달 배워서 나름 재미있게 과제 했답니다^^

Looks like your last answer contains almost every possible answer.
Ballet dancers dance really well and ballet itself has some very interesting stories.
But what do you think it is that helps people can understand the story without talking?
It will be helpful to increase the further understanding of ballet to answer to this question.

I like your last answer!!
It has a very long history and also some interesting stories that are performed with ballet.
Very nice thinking and good reasoning. This is exactly what I wanted.
To add something more on your opinion, I think that long history of ballet not only developed the ballet itself but also made people to be interested in ballet only with a reason that it has a long history. Many people tend to be enthusiastic on something that has a long history.
Very good job Ryan. I appreciate your effort and keep it up.

It is completely fine even though you miss the first place because what I care more is the quality. If you can finish the assignment before the due day with good quality, you are already a well-prepared student. And I thank you for being a well-prepared student.
I agree to your last answer that ballet is attractive because of its dancing and acting. And probably that is why ballet dancers practice so hard.

But the last question meant why is ballet so famous and popular to many people, not to you.
And if you don't think ballet is interesting, why do you think so?
As you know, you should have a reason that supports your ideas.
Other parts look pretty good. Your work shows that you understood the book quite well.
