How are you doing? I GOT A LOT OF SNOW!!! The official record was 11inches I think, but it looked like it snowed more than that. 11inches is about 30cm, just a little shorter. So I had some nice views out there, and had a chance to sled with friends. It snowed for a few days this week, so I guess I had some fabulous week.
However! I heard it snowed even more in Korea!!! Unbelievably a lot. I was kind of surprised about the news that it snowed more than 150 cm in Gangwondo. I was impressed(?).
Anyway, we continue our series with a pretty challenging book. You need to read carefully and try to understand the meaning of the whole plot. I think this book is as difficult as the first book, Christmas Tapestry, but maybe a little easier. Also, this story is happening in Paris, France. So I see some French words that you might not understand easily. I will put up some meanings of French words just to give you a little help.
ma petite : my daughter, my girl, my sweetie
papillon : butterfly
mon dieu : my God
regarde : listen
Joli, n'est-ce pas? : pretty, isn't it?
If you still have any questions about French word, then just leave a reply comment. I will try to help you as much as I can.
Well, good luck and enjoy! I will see you all next week.
