What a Year!                   

1. How did Tomie decide to do his birthday?

- He decided to do his birthday party at his class because Tomie wantted to do his birthday party at his house but some of the childeren live in other neighbor-hood so their folks might not have cars to pick them up and bring them to his house and take them home again. So Tomie's mother asked Miss Kiniry(Tomie's teacher) about having a birthday party at school. Teacher said yes so Tomie had a birthday party at his class with his whole class.

 

2. How did Miss Kiniry act on Tomie's birthday party day before recess?

- Miss Kiniry act the same on Tomie's birthday party day before recess. So Tomie thought she had fotgot his birthday party. But she was'nt.

 

3. What did Buddy and Tomie do in Halloween? How did they dress up?

- It was a Halloween day. Buddy were a Wicked Witch costume and Tomie were Snow White costume. Kids had a Halloween party at Tomie's house and went Trick-or- Treat to other neighbor.

 

4. Why do you think having Thanksgiving break at third Thursday will help the economy?

-President Roosevelt had changed it to the third Thursday in November from the fourth Thursday. He did it to help the "economy" waht ever that was. He said it gave the stores an extra week to sell things fo rthe Christmas season, which began on Thanksgiving weekend.

 

5. Why couldn't Tomie go to school?

- He couln't go to school because he got chicken pox because of Buddy. He got a red spot all over him so he couln't go to school that day. He was really itchy.

 

6. Do you think Tomie belives in Santa?

- I think Tomie belives in Santa because, he wrote letters to Santa about what he want for his christmas present. Tomie is so cute.

벤자민 중1 며칠있으면 정말 중딩이되네요. 방학때도 미션이 계속 늦어지는데 개학하면 어쩔런지 걱정이네요. 담미션도 해야하고 입학도 이제 며칠 안남았는데 해리포터 디비디도 보고싶고 총균쇠도 읽고싶다는데 어쩔까 고민이네요.

유진이가 유치원시절 미국에 있었는데 이책을 읽으며 그때의 추억이 많이 떠오르는지 그 시절을 그리워하네요. 특히 할로윈때 Trick or Treat 하던게 너무 그립다네요.^^ 좋은책 추천해 주신 그리미님께도 감사드리고 싶네요.^^

1. How did Tomie decide to do his birthday?

He wanted to invite all of his classmates to his house, but there were children that lived

far away from his house. So he decided to have his birthday party at his class.

2. How did Miss Kiniry act on Tomie's birthday party day before recess?

She acted so normal that Tomie thought she forgot the birthday party.

And after recess, they watched a movie, and then they started the birthday party.

3. What did Buddy and Tomie do in Halloween? How did they dress up?

They dressed up as a witch and the Snow White. They did a party at Tomie’s house

and went trick or treat.

4. Why do you think having Thanksgiving break at third Thursday will help the economy?

President Roosevelt said it gave the stores extra weeks to sell things for the Christmas

Season. I think it helps the economy.

5. Why couldn't Tomie go to school?

  He got chicken pox from his brother, Buddy. He got itchy spots all over him.

6. Do you think Tomie believes in Santa?

Yes. I think Tomie believes in Santa. That’s because he wrote cards to Santa and

waited for Santa at night.

 

 

 

7. When did you start not believing in Santa and how?

When I was in America, I believed in Santa too. I waited for Santa, and took a cookie

for Santa . It was fun when I believe in Santa. When I was back from America,

I waited for Santa to come with my sister, and she told me there were no kind of things like Santa’s.

I had a big shock.

예비중2/스텔라 올해가 스포츠 좋아하는 고3들에겐 괴로운 해라고 하더군요. 올림픽도 있고, 월드컵도 있다면서요~~ 전 소심해서 스포츠 중계를 못보네요. 너무 떨리더라구요. 친정엄마도 그러셨는데 저도 그렇고 스텔라도 그런편이라 요것도 대물림인지ᆢㅎㅎ

하하.. 올해가 저주받은 고3이군요. 올림픽과 월드컵의 태클에 걸린...^^
저희집도 잘 못봤어요. 이번에 중계시간이 너무 늦어서 기다리기가 힘들더라구요. 그래도 김연아선수경기는 눈비벼가며 봤습니다.
스텔라가 바쁜것 같던데 미션을 꼬박꼬박 챙기는 걸 보면 대견해요.

봄방학이 얼마남지 않았네요.

미르는......방학동안 여러 질병들을 두루 섭렵하느라 다른 것들은 거의 못했네요.

그래서 책을 읽을 시간이 확보된 건지는 모르지만요 ㅋㅋ

아직도 독감때문에 고생하는 친구들이 많은 것같은데 다들 건강건강!!! 조심하세요^^

1. How did Tomie decide to do his birthday?

He wants to invited all his friends in the class. Then he’s mother said to have a birthday party at the school Tommie was happy like he has the whole world.

So he decided to make a birthday cake at school. It’ll be a great happiness for Tommie, Tommie’s friend and the teacher who was taught them.

 

2. How did Miss Kiniry act on Tomie's birthday party day before recess?

Kiniry acted very very normal. Nothing’s been changed.

They went up to the activity table, took their bottles of milk and straws, and went back to their desks.

Then “Cracker Monitor” went up and down the aisles and put a napkin on each of our desks.

And next they got a their crackers.( It was been every single day same.)

 

3. What did Buddy and Tomie do in Halloween? How did they dress up?

Tommie and Buddy were now a age that can go out to trick o treat. So, they went out for trick o treat.

Tommie liked snow white very much. So they went to the grocery and buy snow white costume.

Guess what? They dressed up as a snow white. And it looks like girls costume. ( I don’t like snow white costume. ( Because I’m a boy)

 

4. Why do you think having Thanksgiving break at third thursday will help the economy?

 They can sell more things at the extra time. Like Christmas. Because the thanksgiving day is also big day for some countries.

 

5. Why couldn't Tomie go to school?

Because he will get the chicken pox.

 

6. Do you think Tomie believes in Santa?

He is believing Santa. Because he wrote a Christmas list and waited for Santa.

Tommie was waiting for Santa to come but then he heard the noise “I missed him”.

And his believing Santa absolutely.

When I was young I didn’t write that Christmas list but I said give me that blue or yellow car. Then I’ll do what my mom said. And I’ll don’t make her angry… blah blah blah. Kind of that.

 

7. When did you start not believing in Santa and how?

In my home, There’s a book name “Santa claw’s secret” there’s a Santa village and when they got park their sled when they don’t have anywhere to put on.

I read them and I wish I want to go to Santa village kind of that.

Every year I had a present what I want until 4~5grade years I just thought that Santa is so kind and genius to know what I want but when I was 6 grade at Christmas eve I heard a noise and woke up.

To see the Santa to watch my father was put what I want for Christmas.

Before then my little sister always said don’t ask to Santa what you want the father and mother are buying that! I didn’t believe until I saw it with my eyes.

After that, but not now we’ve been to buy Christmas present with my father.

이제 미르는 건강한거지요? 개학이 얼마 안 남았는데.... 오늘 병원갔는데 독감은 이제 한풀 꺽인것 같다고 하시더라구요. 아프면 책읽기도 힘들텐데 기특하게도 책을 많이 읽었나봐요.
이제 건강하게 학교다닐 준비하길 바래요.

안냐세요 갓 초등학교 졸업한 새싹 Edward예요. 으어~ 내가 말해놓고 내가 오그라든다.....

여하튼 초등학교를 졸업하니까 기분이 새롭네요. 오케스트라여서 공연을 같이 했거든요.

그런데 졸업장을 수여받을때 '어? 이게 아닌데? 뭔가 더 있을껀데? 벌써 끝나?' 라는 생각이 들며

지난날의 후회까지 들더군요. 중학교때는 더 열심히 생활하려구요! 응원해주세요!!

 Of Corse. Because, he wrote down a Christmas list and waited for Santa. I wrote Christmas list even I knew Santa didn’t exist ‘cause I wanted to get more Christmas presents when I was young.

 Well, I don’t remember when I did start not believing in Santa because since, I was so young, and now I’m in middle school. But I think I had not believed Santa with watching comics and seeing the parents giving the presents in the comics. But I pretended I still believe in Santa to get more presents.
