I sleep alone when I was 7 years old I started to sleep alone. I think I’m sleeping well without my parents. But I’m still scared about dark.

When I was 8 years old, my family had a pet. She was an adorable puppy. She was my best friend. I loved her very much. One day after I got back home from school, I called her name as usual. However, there was no answer from her. My mom told me that she was dead because she ate the rat-poison. I couldn’t believe it. I cried a lot for many days.

Do you know a sad story like this? Tell me about the death of someone you loved. How did you feel?

When I was 8 years old I had a pet. It was fish and there name was gufi. I loved them very much. But after vacation , 2 fishes died. And then I fish died. Then there was 1 fish left at my fish bowl. I miss my fishes that died. I felt horrible.

I was first time to go to my 2^nd grade class room, when it was 9 o’clock our teacher told about to introduce ourselves. I thought I could do it so I raised my hand. So my teacher called my name. After my teacher called my name, I felt scared.

But I did it by somehow.

구피란 물고기를 키웠구나. 집에서 물고기 기르기가 쉬운 일은 아닌것 같아. 좁은 곳에서 살다 보니 사온지 2일 만에 죽기도 하더구나.ㅠㅠ 지금 또 우리집에도 열대어 2마리가 있는데 언제 죽을지 무섭단다.

안녕? 네가 쓴 영어 글을 봤는데 참 글을 잘 쓰더라.
네가 2학년 때 네 자신을 친구들에게 소개하는게 조금 떨렸지?
나도 그런 적은 있는데 1학년 딱 한 번 밖에 없는 것 같아.
학예회때 사람들이 계속 나만 쳐다봐서 조금 떨린거야.
그런데 이제는 발표는 무섭지 않아.
내 의견을 자신있게 말할 수 있으니까.
한가지만 물어볼께,너는 영어책을 많이 읽어서 영어를 잘 하는 거니?아니면 영어학원을 오래 다녀서 그러는 거니?

괴로워요. 엉터리 시제, 철자, 짧은 문장, 긴시간등을 그대로 올리면서 고치고 싶은 맘 참느라고요..
또한 미션을 거듭할수록 아이에겐 아직 벅찬거 같다는 생각이 듭니다..
단지 2학년이라는 거.. 매직트리를 이제 1권을 사서 집듣을 몇 챕터하던 중..이라는 이유로 가입했는데
오늘도 역시 겨우 겨우 미션만 했네요..책도 한번밖에 못읽어보구요..내용도 기억나는게 없다고 하네요..혼자 읽기 힘들어해서 같이 읽어주는데..ㅠㅠ
아직 반도 안해보고 이런 말 하면 홍박샘이 혼내실려나?

사실 이 책이 그리 만만한 책은 아닌것 같아요.
아이들 흥미를 확~ 끌어당기는 책도 아니고요.
좀 철학적이라고 해야하나.. 그런 메시지들이 가득한 책이다 보니, 진짜로 이 책을 다 이해하려면 웬만큼 영어실력이 받쳐주거나 나이대가 좀 되거나 해야할것 같은게 제 개인적인 생각이랍니다.

다만.. 내용들이 생각을 이끌어주는 내용이다보니, 글쓰기를 유도하기에는 아주 적합하지 않나 싶어요. 홍박샘이 그래서 이 교재를 특별히 선택하신것 같기도 하고요.
아이가 너무 버거워하면 좀 더 고려해보시되, 이 기간을 한 단계 뛰어넘는 고비다 생각하시고 끝까지 한번 도전해보시면 어떨까해요.
고비를 넘을 땐 누구나 힘들고 그만두고 싶고 그러잖아요.
힘내시구요.
맑은날 님이 현명한 판단하시리라 믿어요. ^^

p.s 홍박샘은........... 혼내십니다. 얼마전에 '심술만 늘어가는 홍박' 이라고 하셨는디... ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ

This is the story about my uncle’s marriage…

Maybe Hunmin couldn't understand what death was back then.
Death is still hard for me to understand.
My best friend lost her son when he was just nine years old.
She was miserable and said she wanted to die, too.
But time heals her wound and sadness.
She overcame the sorrow and got back her normal life now.
Even though Hunmin misses his dad, he doesn'k now how to express it.
He might be very sad inside. Be nice to him, Edward.

When I’m 6 or 7 years old, sometimes my father go business trip.

And he brings some cute dolls. My favorite doll is green teddy bear.

It was so smooth and cute. So when I’m afraid of the dark, I hugged that doll and try to sleep. When I sleep with that doll I sleep faster than usual.

Do you know Harry Potter? I love that series.

It’s really fantasy and interesting and great story. In harry potter book, Harry had a sad thing. His godfather Sirius dead during rescue Harry and his friends.

His godfather is very important to him because Sirius is best friend of Harry’s dead father. Harry loved Sirius and he loved him, too. But finally he lost his godfather.

But when you read last book of harry potter series, you will know why series had to die.

Have you read Harry Potter in English? It's amazing.
My son loves the whole series so I bought all the book in the series.
It's alwasy painful and sorrow to lose a beloved one.
My father-in-law died three years ago.
I still fell sad whenever I see the things he used.
I put up his picture in the wall and say hello to it everyday.
He was so nice to me I wish I could see him again even now.

Suemom입니다. 약간의 오해가 있으신듯해서.. 물론 한글로된 해리포터전권입니다. 1학년때부터 끼고 살아서 죽음의 성물까지 너덜너덜하죠ㅠㅠ.. 첫번째 마법사의 돌만 원서 훑어본 정도래요 ㅋㅋ... 내용을 거의 외우다시피해서 그닥 어렵다고 느끼진 않는것 같은데.. 진정한 리딩이 되려면 레벨을 한참 더 올린 후 이어야된다는 그....쩝 현실인 거죠....

It’s because I like her so much. She is my puppy doll softy.

I’m afraid of space aliens. About 3months ago I read about space aliens from a book.

After reading that book I was afraid of space aliens.

I’m afraid when it’s so quite, or when there is no one except me.

But I can avoid it by myself from being scared.

First I try just reading some books about happy details. And if that doesn’t work,

I try to whistle or sing a happy tune. That’s how I avoid being scared of space aliens.

When I was 7-8years old, I was afraid of the dark. So I choose a unicorn doll as my sleeping mate. But when I was 10-11years olod, I began thinking that night time s dark so people can sleep well. So at 3-4grade, I began to sleep alone. But sometimes, when I see a scary movie or scary book, that night, I still sleep with my unicorn.

The story of ‘Ramona Quimby’ tell us about a cat ‘Picky picky’. He lived before Ramona was born. But when Ramona was 3^rd grade, he died. Ramona and her sister was so sad,and cried. So Ramona and her sister dug a grave and buried Picky picky. And when someone I loved died, its very sad.
