알파벳을 인지하고 이제 막 읽기를 시작하려는 1단계부터 챕터북 읽기에 재미를 붙인 단계까지 모두 5단계구성으로 되어있으며, 각 단계마다 다양한 소재의 풍부한 읽을 거리를 포함하고 있습니다.

초급단계에서는 아이들에게 친근한 캐릭터(Barbie, Arthur, Disney등) 시리즈가 대다수 포함되어 있어 친근감을 형성해 자발적인 독서활동이 되도록 충분한 동기부여를 내표하고 있으며, 단계가 높아짐에 따라 사회(인물/시대적 사건/스포츠), 과학, 수학 영역을 다루는 Nonfiction 스토리의 비중을 높여 읽기 역량을 다져가는 독자에게 읽기능력 배양뿐 아니라 독서를 통한 지식습득의 역할도 겸하고 있습니다.

대상연령은 자신 있게 간단한 스토리를 읽어갈 수 있는 초등학생 고학년입니다. 약 500~800 단어가 포함된 장문이 주를 이루고 있으며, 이야기 본문이 몇 개의 Chaper로 나뉘어진 것도 포함되어있습니다. 영어습득에 앞서 이야기 내용에 대한 배경지식도 함께 쌓을 수 있는 인물 전기, 역사적 사건, 미스터리 등등 다양한 소재의 흥미로운 이야기가 포함되어 있습니다.
