Amy: What are we going to see today?
Tom: Well, we still haven’t been up the Eiffel Tower. But I want to see the Arc de Triomphe first.
Amy: Okay. And we can still see the art museum.
Tom: You mean the Louvre?
Amy: Right. It’s not far from the Arc. I’d like to spend some time there today.
Tom: Okay.
Amy: This is going to be very exciting. I can’t wait to go to all these places.
Globe Theater
Jenny: Did you finish your essay about the Globe Theater?
Edward: Yes. I found out lots of interesting facts about the theater.
Jenny: Really? Can you tell me about that?
Edward: Well, many performances today at the Globe are just like the original ones.
Jenny: But some things are different. Right?
Edward: Yes. For example, In Shakespeare’s time, people thought it was improper for women to be on stage and act.
Jenny: That’s interesting. Then, do you mean women were not able to perform at the Globe Theater at that time?
Edward: Yes.
