다은이의 관심을 듬뿍 받고 있는 책...사이언스스토리 중의 sea creatures..
이 사이언스스토리 책의 너무나도 간결한 설명에
처음에는 너무나도 당황했더랬죠..^^
다은이에게 너무나도 간결한 설명으로 끝내기보다는
좀 더 살을 붙여주자는 의미에서 다은이가 잠 든 밤에 인형극을 준비 해 봤네요..
등장생물...해파리, 불가사리, 가시복, 아귀, 가오리, 복어
Starfish
I am starfish.
(난 불가사리야)
I get purple.
(난 보라색이구.)
But my friends have many colors. brown, red and so on.
(그런데, 내 친구들은 갈색 빨간색 등 많은 색을 지니고 있지)
Can you count my arms?
(내 팔이 몇개인지 세어볼래?)
Yes...I have five arms.
(맞어, 5개야.)
If you cut one of them off, I don't care.
(네가 그 중 하나를 잘라도 상관없어.)
Why?
(왜냐구?)
Because I can grow another arm in that place.
(왜냐하면 그 곳에 또 다른 팔이 자라나거든.)
Let me introduce my friend except starfish.
(내가 불가사리 말고 내 친구들을 소개해 줄께.)

(야~너 무지 뚱뚱해.)

Awhile ago, I was attacked by a bad creature.
(조금 전에, 나쁜 생물들한테서 공격받았거든.)
So I blew myelf up to look bigger not to be
eaten by a bad fish.
(그래서 나쁜 고기들한테 잡아먹히지 않기위해
더 크게 보이려고 부풀렸어.)

(큰 일날 뻔 했네.)

(근데, 가시복은 어딨어?)

(내 뾰족한 가시들 보이지?)
My spines play a defense against bad fish.
(내 가시들이 나쁜 고기들로부터 방어해 주는 역할을 해.)

(만약 누군가 널 괴롭히면, 날 불러.)

I can swim well with the help of simple muscles.

I have poisonous tail to defend myself.
(난 날 지키기 위해 독이 있는 꼬리를 가졌어.)

Guessing game!!!
1. Jellyfish
I look umbrella-shaped.
I may have a few or many tentacles.
I swim with the help of simple muscles on my underside.
We feed on small animals
that are trapped by the tentacles and drawn into the our mouth.
We live at or near the surface of the sea,
2. Pufferfish
I look fat.
When I am frightened, I can blow myself up to look bigger
so that I will not be eaten by larger fish.
3. Porcupine fish
I have many prickly spines.
My spines play a defense against becoming the feed of another fish.
4. Stingray
I am very flat.
I can glide.
I have poisonous tail to defend myself.
5. Starfish
I have five arms.
I look like drawings of stars.
Starfish come in many colors, including brown, red, orange, and pink
Many starfish can grow another arm if they lose one.
6. Anglerfish
I look very scary.
My mouth is turned up to catch prey.
