Once upon a time, a lamb was drinking water from a stream.
A hungry wolf saw the lamb. He tried to make an excuse to eat the lamb for dinner.
The wolf shouted at the lamb. “Why are you making the water dirty? I didn’t even touch the water,” the lamb said.
The wolf then said, “Two years ago, you said bad things about my mother to your friends.”
The lamb then answered, “I wasn’t even living in this town then.”
“You are good and smart. But it doesn’t matter. I’m going to eat you for dinner.”
When someone wants to do harm to you, he or she will find whatever excuse to do so.
