5월 둘째주 일요일은 어머니 날.
이날만큼은 침대속에서 허물허물거릴수 있고 또 반드시 그래야만 하는 날이다..ㅎㅎ
올해는 남들처럼 침대위에서 아침을 간단하게라도 얻어 먹는구나..나도...그랫는데...
아영이의 동네 친구 다비나가 아침 10시부터 생일 파티를 한다고...
그것도 집에서 무지무지 먼곳에 있는 항공 박물관이란다.
적어도 9시엔 집에서 출발을 해얀다.
이래서 침대속에서 허물허물은 내년으로~
이번주엔 10개의 단어 시험 부터 딸랑 한장에 단어 5개 주는 그런 숙제도 없단다.
그리고 Library Day 이도 통과란다.
학교서 뭘~하길래...^*^

학교 다녀오면 얼른 얼른 숨겨왔던 모든것이 드디어...ㅎㅎ
그리구요...이 모든걸 몇시에 저에게 가져다 준줄 아세요?

그래서 제가 남편에게 아니..이게 뭐니..누구에게 주는거야,누구꺼야..응?
다른날 같음 아영이니깐 이렇게 한다..라며 마냥 좋아할텐데
오늘은 아니..아영..그러면서..둘이 쿵쿵쿵
아영인 그럽니다..선생님이 이야기 하고픈거 어떤거라도 좋타고...
그래서 토끼 이야기를 해도 된다고
머리서 김은 나지만..어쩝니까..^*^

마지막장엔 엄마와 아영이라네요...ㅠㅠ
그동안 아주 열심히 숨겨놓터니만..아주 푸짐하네요.
나 스스로 아이들에게 좋은 엄마...그런건 생각도 못해봣는데...
아영이가 사소한것 하나하나에도 고마워하고,생각을 하고 있다는게 참 고맙네요.
그리고 조심해얄것 같기도 하구요.
아이들 눈은 절대 못속이잖아요...ㅠㅠ
어머니 날인 오늘 우리는~
6시반에 아영이가 엄마를 깨우고,후다닥 아침을 먹고 출발!
아영이 친구의 생일 파티가 있는 항공 박물관으로 가는 차안
휴대용 DVD가 있으니깐 어디 다니기가 한결 수월하네요..특히 장거리..ㅠㅠ
남편만 죽어나는군요...쯥쯥
옆집 보이세요.작년에 물 한번 안주고 말라죽이더군요.
그럼 바로 옆집도 그리됩니다.우리가 정성을 들여도...
남편은 뒤뜰을 골프장 그린처럼 가꾸는게 소원인데...
아이들이 마누라가 맨발로 나가 놀수 잇는 그런 잔디를 원했는데...
올해 땅을 전체 다 파헤쳐서 잔디를 다시 심으려고 하니
주위에서 그렇게 못하게 합니다.
옆집에서 같이 하지않음..포기하고 그냥 살으라는군요.
돈들여서 해도 소용이 없데요...ㅉㅉ
집을 구입했음..가꿔야지..잔디도 나무도 일부러 말라 죽이다니..
나쁜 사람같으니라고.
올 들어 처음으로 바베큐 파티를~

읽느라 바쁘네요..
저녁후엔 커피 마시며 이런저런 이야기를 하다가 아영이가 그네를 타고파 하는데...
말 끝나자마자 남편이 그동안 안타던 스티브의 새 그네를 다시 달아주고.
차고에다가 다는거라 그동안 망설였거든요..약간 금 간 자국도 있고 해서.
아영이의 간단한 그네는 다음주에 사러 가기로 했습니다.
해질녁에 하늘하늘거리며 그네에 안아있을 아영이를 곧 볼것 같네요.
...긴머리 휘날리는 이쁜 울 아영이를요...(으으으 닭살이죠..ㅠㅠ)
지역 신문에 올려진 글로 저처럼 생쥐를 무서워하는 엄마 이야기..ㅎㅎ

Did Mother's Day begin in the United States?
No. Long, long, ago, in ancient Greece, the people paid tribute to Rhea,
the Mother of the Gods, each spring.
A little later in history it is noted that England paid homage to mothers on
"Mothering Sunday,"the fourth Sunday of Lent.
In 1872, Julia Ward Howe (who wrote the words to the Battle hymn
of the Republic) suggested the idea of Mother's Day,
but it was Miss Anna M. Jarvis (1864-1948),
of Philadelphia, who began a letter-writing campaign to a variety of influential
people that made Mother's Day a national holiday.
Why did Miss Jarvis think it was so important to have Mother's Day?
Miss Jarvis was very close to her mother Mrs. Anna Reese Jarvis.
Anna's mother died in May of 1905, when Anna was 41 years of age.
Anna was not married and from the time of her mother's death cared for her
blind sister, Ellsinore. Anna missed her mother very much
and felt that children should appreciate their mother's more while
they're still alive.
Anna hoped Mother's Day would increase respect and love and strengthen
family bonds.
So when was the first Mother's Day?
In 1907 Anna persuaded her mother's church in Grafton,
West Virginia to celebrate Mother's Day on the second anniversary
of her mother's death,
the 2nd Sunday of May. By the next year, 1908, Mother's Day was also
celebrated in Philadelphia.
In 1910 the first Mother's Day proclamation was issued by the governor
of West Virginia.
Oklahoma celebrated Mother's Day that year also.
By 1911 every state observed Mother's Day.
The Mother's Day International Association was incorporated on
December 12, 1912, with the purpose of furthering meaningful
observations of Mother's Day.
When did Mother's Day become official?
In May, 1913, The House of Representatives unanimously adopted
a resolution requesting the President, his Cabinet,
members of Congress, and all officials of the federal government to wear
a white carnation on Mother's Day. Congress passed another
Joint Resolution May 8, 1914, designating the second Sunday in May as
Mother's Day.
On Mother's Day the U.S. flag is to be displayed on government buildings
and at people's homes
"as a public expression of our love and reverence for the mothers of our country."
President Woodrow Wilson issued the first proclamation making Mother's Day
an official national holiday.
Many people give roses on Valentines Day,
is there a particular flower I should give my mom on Mother's Day?
Miss Anna Jarvis's mother's favorite flower was the white carnation.
This flower was chosen to represent the sweetness,
purity and endurance of mother love.
However, the red carnation has since become the symbol of a living mother
while white signifies that one's mother has died.
Do other countries celebrate Mother's Day?
You bet they do! Denmark, Finland, Italy, Turkey,
Australia and Belgium celebrate Mother's Day on the same day as the
United States. Other countries celebrate Mother's Day as well,
though not on the same day.
What can I do to make Mother's Day special for my mom?
There are all kinds of things you can do to make Mother's Day special for
your mom. Here are a few suggestions: Make mom breakfast in bed.
Do secret acts of kindness, this might include doing one of mom's chores
for her. Be obedient.
Do your chores, without being asked.
Get along with your brothers and sisters.
Leave a love letter, for mom, on her pillow.
