There was a small village on the valley in the mountain. People were farming, cooking, and feeding their livestock in the morning. It was a peaceful morning.

Suddenly, the ground started to shake. Smoke came out from the summit of the mountain. Trees were crashing and huge rocks started to roll down from the mountains.

People were afraid. ¡°What is happening? Are we all going to die?¡± People cried out for help. They felt that something horrible was going to happen. People all gathered together in one place for an emergency meeting. One of them said, ¡°Let¡¯s wait and see what happens.¡± So, they all decided to wait.

They waited and waited. But nothing happened.
Finally, there was one more violent earthquake. And a huge gap appeared in the mountain.

People thought something was going to come out of the gap. At last, a tiny mouse poked its head out of the gap.

Much outcry, little outcome.
