> I＇m a fourteen year old full Korean who has never attended anything that has Korean in it. I have attended an international School since I was able to talk, and am now studying aboard in the US. Over the years, I have learned to hate the fact that I can read, write and speak english fluently. My parents also regret the fact that they never gave me the chance to learn korean. My writing skills are that of a kindergarten kid, and my reading, listening, and speaking skills are that of a 6th grade korean elementary kid. My brother＇s case is worse. He is ten and his writing and reading skills are that of a 3 year old kid, and his listening and speaking skills are that of a 1st grader. This is what english has done to our lives.
> >People tell both me and my brother that we should be grateful that we are so fluent in english but we (at least I) am not. Throughout my life in an international school, I have seen many other pathetic cases of where kids cannot even speak korean, although they are certainly full korean.
> >What has been a great shock for me while watching the show was the mother of the 1 year old baby. I was shocked with how she spoke english to the baby, and how she said that instead of saying ＇얌얌＇as in food as many korean mothers do, americans say ＇담담＇ or something like that, which is CLEARLY NOT TRUE. I felt bad for the baby child in that his life is going to be surrounded by english forever and is going to be worse than me, of not even being able to watch korean tv.

Thank You" and just walked us leaving us laughing our heads off. Just this winter, a woman came over to me and my friend and asked us "영어는 엇덕개 잘해요?" we didn＇t know what to say. We were stunned. Last summer, just because of the fact that I could speak english I earned 1,000,000 in a month.

오늘 새벽에 쓴 글은 제가 뭔가 오핼 한 것 같습니다. 저는 얘기만 듣고 '그것이 알고싶다'를 보지 않았거든요. 환이맘이라는 아이디를 사칭해서 윗글의 주인공이 여기에 글을 올린 것으로 잘못 생각했어요.-(왜 저는 맨날 뒷북치구, 5류소설을 쓰는지 모르겠습니다.)
진짜 부지런두하시지 벌써 많은 분이 읽고 가셨네요. 미쉘맘(또 언급해서 미안)이 전화로 친절하게 일러줘서 화들짝 놀라, 지웁니다. 덕분에 취한 잠도 깨고 고맙습니다. 읽고 가신 여러분 다시한번 용서를 구합니다. 환이맘님께 우선적으로 죄송하구요. --어설픈 변명--> 이메일 주소를 안넣으셔서 더 제가 오해를 할 수 밖에 없었어요.첨엔 당연히 개인 멜을 보낼 생각이었죠. 요즘 있었던 일련의 사건들도 저의 이런 상상력을 부추겼던 것도 같아요. 암튼 생각이 많아서 모자란만 못하는 이 과유불급맘을 보다듬어 주시길...
