has done significant classroom research into the grammar dictation method known as "Dictogloss." Mr. Cherry is closely associated with Dictogloss innovator and author of Grammar Dictation, Dr Ruth Wajnryb.

Grammar Dictation or ¡®dictogloss¡¯ involves the dictation of a text at normal speed, followed by text creation or reconstruction by students, and error analysis. All of these combined enable students to improve their understanding and use of English grammar.
