On May 29 (Saturday), many people at the Eiffel Tower in Paris saw the roller-blade skater Taig Khris breaking a world record by jumping from the French landmark onto a huge ramp. Thousands of spectators cheered him on and into the ranks of the Guinness Book of World Record.

The skater, who calls himself the ¡°ramp warrior,¡± lost his footing on landing on his first attempt but decided to have another jump. At the second round, he succeeded to land his foot and set a new world record for the highest jump on roller skates ever to take place in the world.
