A Cage Bird and a Bat

There was a singing bird. Unfortunately, it was confined in a cage. The cage was hanging outside a window.

However, the bird was a problem for everyone; it sang only at night. So, all other birds could not sleep.

One night, a bat flew to the singing bird¡¯s cage and politely said, ¡°You have a beautiful voice. I like your songs. But would you please stop singing at night? All other birds including myself cannot sleep.¡±

The singing bird replied. ¡°I have a reason for doing so. I used to sing only at night before a hunter who was attracted by my voice caught me to put me in this cage. Since then, I sing only at night.¡±

The bat laughed and said, ¡°Now, you are a prisoner. If you had not sung at night, you would not be here in this cage.¡±

Precautions are useless after the crisis.
