¡°The teachers tell the students the guidelines of writing an essay. They show the students how an essay is supposed to look. The students pick an idea and write an essay on it.The teachers guide the students through the process. They show the students to edit the essay. The students meet with other students and discuss the essays and help each other. This takes couple of weeks. And everybody has finished essay. ¡°

¡°The guidelines are what are supposed to be in the essay. For example, an essay has a main idea and three supporting ideas. The essay is five paragraphs, and so on.¡±

¡°The students write the essays only in class so the teachers can look at them and tell the students right away after they made mistakes. The teachers discussed the essays with the students. And then the students go home, type them up. The teachers really help the students.¡±
