안녕하세요..우리나라의 영어교육 발전에 많은 관심을 가지고 있는 맘입니다.
국내외에서 열리는 다양한 학술회에 참가도 하고, 회원으로 가입하여 정보를 계속 주고받고 싶으면 어떻게 해야 하나요?
그리고..학술회를 한 번도 참가를 해본적이 없어서 정보가 전혀 없어서요..
이번 학술회 시간표를 보니가 오전 8시 30분부터 6시까지 하던데..
듣고 싶은 강의만 들으며..하루종일 있을 수 있는 거지요?
그리고 가면 다른 사람들과 대화하고 친해질 수 있는 시간도 있나요?
암튼...아는 것이 하나도 없어서리..넘 궁금하네요..
자세한 설명좀 부탁드릴께요..
가입방법부터 강의 들을 때 주의점..등등...

> <p style="line- 150%"><font color="#0000FF" size="2">매년 우리 나라에서는 일년에 한번씩 국내 뿐만 아니라, 세계 여러 나라에서 영어 교육에 종사하는 사람들의 '영어 교육 학술회'가 열립니다. 이번 학술회는 서울의 '숙명 여자 대학교'에서 이틀에 걸쳐서 행사가 열립니다. 100% 영어로 진행되고, 자원 봉사하는 사람들도 외국인 선생님들이 많습니다. 영어 교육의 발전을 도모하는 분들이라면, 이번 행사에 꼭 참여해 보시고, 자신의 영역을 키워 나가 보세요.</font></p>
> <p style="line- 150%"><font size="2" color="#0000FF">물론 돈이 듭니다. 학술회 행사만 참여하는데도 3-4만원이 필요합니다. 하지만, 열심히 참가하면, 이틀 동안 계속 영어로 강의 듣기, 질문 영어로 해보기, 외국인 선생님들과 정보 교류하기 등...지출한 경비의 본전을 뽑을 수 있습니다. 본인이 열심히 참가하고 시간 투자 하기에 달렸겠지요. 저는 연회비 내는 기간을 놓쳐서 이번에 행사 참여비랑 합쳐서, 7만 5천원의 돈이 듭니다. 하지만, 이렇게 KOTESOL 회원이 된지 어언 10년이 넘었네요. 우리 나라의 영어 교육의 발전을 위해서라면, 이 만한 돈도 아깝지 않습니다. </font></p>
> <p style="line- 150%"><font size="2" color="#0000FF">우리 나라에는 여러 개의 '영어 교육'에 관한 학회가 있습니다. 저는 [한국 멀티미디어 교육학회], [한국 영어 교육학회], [초등영어 교육학회], 그리고 아래의[KOTESOL
> ]회원입니다. 상상이 되시죠? 일년에 드는 연회비가요....그러나 이것도 투자입니다. 각 개인의 연회비가 모여, 훌륭한 학자들도 초빙하여 강연회를 할 수 있고, 학술지도 발간하고, 회원들을 모아서 행사를 진행할 수 있는 원동력이 됩니다.</font></p>
> <p style="line- 150%"><font size="2" color="#0000FF">더 많은 영어 선생님들이 모여서, 서로 좋은 정보 공유하고, 좋은 자료 베풀고, 서로 존중하고 아껴주어야, 궁극적으로 우리 아이들에게도 보다 나은 방향의 영향이 간다고 봅니다. 어떤 영어 교육 학회든지 좋습니다. 학회 회원이 되어 보다 나은 영어 교육을 이끌어 갈 수 있는 사람들이 되면 좋겠습니다.</font></p>
> <p style="line- 150%"><font size="2" color="#0000FF">이번 학술회 장에서 많은 분들 뵈면 좋겠네요. 아! 참고로 아래 '초등영어'에 관한 세미나 시간표입니다. 아흐~~요즘 뜨고 있는 코스북 Super Tots의 저자 Aleda Krause의 강의도 토요일에 있고, Magic Show 강의도 토요일에 있고....아까운 강의 다 놓치게 되었네요. 저는 일요일에만 갈 수 있답니다. 괴롭당!!!</font></p>

> practice of English language teaching, and in the theories underlying those
> practices. There has been an explosion in research, especially classroom-based
> research, which has in turn led to the development of new theories, which have
> in turn led to new practices in language classrooms. This change has happened
