Biggest Dog Show
A Hungarian Vizsla won a top prize at the biggest dog show in the world.
The top dog is called Yogi. He is seven years old. He beat six other finalists at Cruft¡¯s dog show in Birmingham, central England.
¡±He is just such a wonderful dog, I am just pleased that he stood up to it. We are just absolutely delighted!¡± said his handler John Thrilwell.
Yogi is the first Hungarian Vizsla to win the top prize in the show. He also won a prize in the gundog category. He is owned by Naomi Cragg and Kathryn Armstrong from Carlisle, northwest England.
Almost 22,000 dogs across 187 breeds came to Birmingham for the biggest dog show in the world, said the Kennel Club. The Kennel Club organized and ran the show.
Thousands of dog-lovers watched the four-day event. They cheered on the competing dogs as dogs and their handlers were doing their best.
