어제 올렸다가 슬그머니 내린 글을 그리미님이 내놔! 하셔 가지고... 다시 올립니다.

우리나라 교과 과정하고 굳이 비교하자면 이과의 이산 수학하고 좀 닮았습니다. 굳이 영어로 할 필요가 있겠습니까만, 다만 영어를 수학적으로 생각하기가 좀 어려운데 -- 단위나 수치가 나오면 머리가 멈춘다거나...

그런 부분에 좀 훈련이 되지 않을까 싶어요.

Math Lingo 게임은 음성도 제공이 됩니다.

함 해봤는데 용어가 낯설어서 G1에서 막혔네요. 대략 굴욕... ^^;;

Shane picked the two colors that Maddy had not picked.

Dog Treats

Four dogs of different breeds. The first, labeled Abby's Dog, has a ball in its mouth. The second, labeled Carter's Dog, is jumping for a stick. The third, labeled Scott's Dog, is carrying a newspaper in its mouth. The fourth, labeled Tracey's Dog, is sitting.

Abby, Carter, Scott, and Tracey reward their dogs with treats each time one of their dogs does a trick. Each child began with 10 treats.

Abby's dog did 5 tricks.
Carter's dog did 2 less tricks than Scott's dog.
Scott's dog did 1 more trick than Abby's dog.
Tracey's dog did 3 more tricks than Carter's dog.

These are the numbers that Cindy, Lisa, Maria, Tommy, and Zack wore when they ran in a marathon.

Each of the 5,500 runners in the marathon wore a different number. The runners got their numbers in the order that they signed in on the day of the race. So the first person to sign in got number 1 and the last person to sign in got number 5,500.

Of the group of five, Cindy had the lowest number.
The digit in the tens place on Tommy's shirt is one more than the digit in the tens place on Cindy's shirt.
Maria was the last person to sign in for the race.
Zack and Tommy were closest to each other in line.
Lisa's number is lower than Tommy's.
