키퍼가 왜 문기둥을 잡고 있을까?
He is very, very nervous.
키퍼는 엄청나게 신경질을 부리네.
What do you think Mum is saying?
엄마가 뭐라고 말하고 있는 걸까?
The teacher said “Come on, Kipper!
선생님은 "키퍼야. 이리 와."하셨어.
“No, no!” said Kipper.
"싫어, 싫어."하고 말했지.

애들이 "와서 우리랑 같이 놀자."하고 말했어.
Kipper didn’t answer.
키퍼는 대답을 안 했어.

The teacher, Miss Harvey suggest that he go to play in the home corner.
하비 선생님이 키퍼더러 가사 영역에 가서 놀라고 하셨어.
The home corner has a sink and a table and a ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
가사 영역에는 씽크대랑 탁자, 다리미대, 청소기가 있어.
Lisa is cooking a Lego stew for Ales and Roddy.
리사가 알리스와 로디를 위해 레고 스튜을 끓이고 있네.
“I’m hungry.” Says boys.
애들이 "나 배고파."하고 말한다.

와, 키퍼도 레고 스튜를 만들고 있어.
He looks so happy.
굉장히 행복해 보이는데.

Mum comes to take Kipper.
엄마가 키퍼를 데리러 오셨네.
He is holding on to the gatepost again.
키퍼가 또 문기둥을 잡고 있어.
Why is he holding it so tightly?
왜 그걸 그렇게 꽉 잡고 있을까?
Right. He doesn’t want to go home.
그래, 키퍼는 집에 가기 싫어해.

Making a Lego stew or paper stew.
레고 스튜나 종이 스튜 만들기
(나무 블록이나 레고에 Onion, Carrot, Pea, Mushroom등의 단어를 써 붙인다.)
Let’s cook a Lego stew like Kipper.
키퍼처럼 레고 스튜 만들자.
It will be fun, isn’t it?
재미있을 거야, 그치?
We need a big pot and a ladle.
큰 냄비와 국자가 필요해.
This is an onion and these are carrots.
이건 양파고 이건 당근이야.
Now let's cook it.
이제 요리하자.

◆ Getting up ◆

It’s morning.
아침이야.
Kipper is stretching hard in his bed.
키퍼는 침대에서 기지개를 펴고 있어.
Say “Good morning” to Kipper.
"잘 잤니?"하고 키퍼한테 말해 봐.

He is brushing his teeth.
키퍼는 이를 닦고 있네.
Chip says “Good morning, Kipper. I’m done. Hurry up!”
칩이 "잘 잤니, 키퍼야? 난 다 했어. 서둘러."하고 말해.

After he has washed and brushed his teeth, Kipper start to get dressed.
씻고 양치한 다음 키퍼는 옷을 입었어.
They whispered “Hurry up, Kipper. It’s 7 o’clock.”
칩이랑 비프가 "서둘러, 일곱 시야."라고 말했어.
What is Biff carrying?
비프가 뭘 들고 가지?
It must special day.
특별한 날인가 봐.

Kipper find his shirt.
키퍼가 셔츠를 찾는다.
Oh, Kipper! Be careful! Don’t make a noise!
어, 키퍼! 조심해. 소리내지 마.
Biff and chip are putting their jackets on.
비프랑 칩은 외투를 입고 있어.
Why do you think Biff and Chip put on their jackets?
왜 비프랑 칩이 외투를 입는다고 생각해?

키퍼가 뭐하는 거야?
Right, he is putting on his trainers.
그래, 키퍼는 운동화를 신고 있어.
Biff and Chip is saying “Hurry up! Don’t forget Dad’s present.”
비프랑 칩이 "서둘러, 아빠 선물 잊지 마."하고 말해.

이 기(플랜카드) 좀 봐.
It is saying ‘Happy birthday, Dad, 35 today!’
거기 "아빠의 서른 세번째 생을을 축하해요.'라고 씌여 있네.
Say happy Birthday to their Dad.
아저씨께 생일 축하한다고 말해 봐.
Who woke Mum up?
누가 엄말 깨웠지?
Kipper was making a funny noise.
키퍼가 시끄런 소릴 내고 있어.
So that noise woke up Mum.
그 소리 때문에 엄마가 일어나셨어.

Look at this Road Ripper.
이 로드리퍼를 봐.
Kipper is looking at the Road Ripper.
키퍼가 로드리퍼를 보고 있네.
The Road Ripper doesn’t belong to him.
이건 키퍼 것이 아니야.
He borrow it while his friend was on holiday.
친구가 휴가 가 있는 동안 빌린 거지.
Will he be able to ride it?
키퍼가 그걸 탈 수 있을까?

키퍼가 헬멧을 쓰고 있어.
It’s a good idea, Kipper.
좋은 생각이야, 키퍼.
It’s very dangerous without the helmet.
헬멧을 쓰지 않으면 엄청 위험해.

Mom shouts “Hey, Look out!”
엄마가 "야, 조심해."하고 말하네.
But Kipper can’t stop.
헌데 키퍼는 멈출 수가 없어.

고양이한테 무슨 일이람?
The cat was sleeping before the happening.
이 일이 있기 전까지 고양이는 잠을 자고 있었어.
Floppy looks feel very fun.
플로피는 무척 재미있어 하는 것처럼 보이는 걸.

Kipper doen’t stop.
키퍼가 멈추질 않아.
He is passing by that clothes line.
빨래줄을 지나갔어.
Brrrmm…… Brrrmm……
부릉.. 부릉..

Oh no! He doen’t stop.
오,저런! 그가 멈추질 않아.
He drive straight across the kitchen floor over Chip’s painting.
칩의 그림 위를 지나 부엌으로 곧장 차를 몰고 오네.
He finally crash into the vegetable rack.
결국 야채 선반에 꽈당 부딪쳤어.
Why he didn’t stop?
왜 멈추지 않았지?
He didn't know how to stop.
키퍼는 멈추는 방법을 몰랐어.

Ah ha! They teach Kipper not to be a road hog.
아하! 식구들이 키퍼가 함부로 차를 몰지 않도록 가르치네.
“Stop, Kipper!” said Chip.
"멈춰."하고 칩이 말했어.
“Well done!” Said Dad.
"잘했다." 아빠도 말씀하시고.
Now That’s no problem.
이제 문제없어.
◆ The Haircut ◆

This story is about haircut.
이 얘기는 이발에 관한 거야.

이발하는 거 좋아하니?
Who cuts your hair?
누가 머리를 잘라주니?

Dad started to comb his hair.
아빠가 키퍼의 머리를 빗겼어.
“Oooooch, that hurts, Dad!” said Kipper.
"아, 아파요, 아빠." 키퍼가 말했어.
“Then let’s go to the hair salon.” Said Dad.
"그럼 미용실 가자." 아빠가 말씀하셨지.
Why do we have to have haircut?
우리는 왜 머리를 자를까?
We look very silly and messy if we didn’t have a haircut.
머리를 안 자르면 이상하고 지저분해 보일 거야.

This is a Snips hair salon.
여기는 싹뚝미용실이야.
Snip is the cutting sound. Snip, snip!
싹뚝은 머리 자르는 소리야. 싹뚝,싹뚝!
Do you remember the hair shop that we went ?
우리가 갔던 미용실 생각나니?
Right, A-ha hair salon.
그래, 아하미용실이지.

They are washing their hair.
아빠랑 키퍼가 머리를 감고 있어.
Kipper looks good. don’t he?
키퍼는 멋져 보인다. 그치?
But Dad looks unhappy.
헌데 아빠는 기분이 안 좋아 보여.
Shampoo got into his eyes.
샴푸가 눈에 들어갔어.

After the shampooing, the hairdressers began the haircut.
머리감은 다음, 미용사가 머리를 자르기 시작했어.
How would you like to have your hair cut?
어떻게 잘라 드릴까요?
Short, or long?
짧게요. 길게요?
You don’t like sort hair, huh?
짧은 머리를 싫어하시죠?

Kipper looks quite grown up with sort hair.
머리를 자르니까 키퍼는 좀 커보이는 걸.

엄마가 뭐라고 하셨을 거 같아?
She said “Who are you?”
엄마가 말하길 "누구세요?"
◆ The Lost Teddy ◆

Have you ever ridden on a bus?
버스 타 본 적 있니?
Do you know what a bus like this is called?
이렇게 생긴 버스를 뭐라고 부르는지 아니?
It’s double-decker bus.
2층 버스지.
Kipper and Mum were standing at the bus stop.
키퍼랑 엄마는 버스정류장에 서 있었어.

“Here we are. Let’s get off here, Kipper.” Said Mum.
"다왔다. 내리자, 키퍼."하고 엄마가 말씀하셨어.
“Ok, Mommy” said Kipper.
"네, 엄마"하고 키퍼가 말했구.
Oh my ! Look at this!
아이구! 이걸 봐.
kipper leave Teddy sitting on the seat beside him.
키퍼가 옆에 앉혀 두었던 곰인형을 두고 내렸어.
If Teddy could talk, what would he say?
곰인형이 말할 수 있었다면 뭐라고 했겠니?

As soon as Kipper got off the bus, he remembered Teddy.
버스에서 내리자마자 키퍼는 곰인형을 생각했어.
“Oh, my Teddy! My Teddy is on the bus!” said Kipper.
"어, 내 인형! 곰인형이 버스에 있어요." 하고 말했지.
“The bus is gone.” Said Mum.
"버스가 갔어."하고 엄마가 말씀하셨어.

It became the night.
밤이 됐어.
Kipper is crying. “Don’t cry, Kipper. Have this Teddy.” Said Chip.
키퍼가 울고 있네."울지마,키퍼야. 이 곰인형 가져."하고 칩이 말했어.
“No, I only want my Teddy.” Said kipper.
"싫어. 내 곰인형이 아니잖아."키퍼가 말했어.
Tell me why Kipper cried?
키퍼가 왜 울었는지 말해 봐.
Because he has lost Teddy.
곰인형을 잃어 버렸으니까.

The next day, Mum went to the Lost Property Office with Kipper.
다음날, 엄마는 키퍼랑 분실물 센터에 갔어.
A Lost Property Office is a place that looks after all the things people lose.
분실물 센터는 사람들이 잃어버린 물건들을 보관하고 있는 곳이야.
“May I help you?” said Lady.
"뭘 도와 드릴까요?" 하고 아줌마가 말했어.

카운터 위에 있는 크고 빨간 상자 안에 뭐가 보이니?

키퍼가 아빠랑 도서관엘 갔어.
There are lots of books in library.
도서관에는 책이 무척 많아.
Kipper want to read a book.
키퍼는 책을 읽고 싶어해.

혼자서 책을 골랐니?

“Ok, Kipper. Let’s choose the books.” Said Dad.
"그래, 키퍼. 책을 골라보자."아빠가 말씀하셨어.
Kipper is choosing books by himself.
키퍼는 혼자 책을 고르고 있어.

Dad can’t decide which one to take home.
아빠는 대출할 책을 결정하지 못해.
Kipper said “This is fun. I like all of them.”
"이건 재미있어. 이 책들 다 좋아해."하고 말했어.
Kipper is going to take all of books, that he likes them.
키퍼는 좋아하는 책 모두 빌려가려고 해.
The trouble was Kipper have to take only four books.
문제는 네 권밖에 대출이 안 된다는 거야.
Let’s choose only four books.
네 권만 골라 보자.

“Daddy, I want all of these books.” Said Kipper.
"아빠, 다 가져 갈래요."키퍼가 말했어.
But Kipper can’t take all of them.
하지만 다 가져갈 수가 없지.

얼마전 ort 1단계를 구입했습니다.책읽어주는것말고 책내용으로 활용을 좀 해주고 싶은데 활용안을 아무리 찿아도 없네요.ort활용안을 어디가면 볼수 있을까요?
