Q1. In hereditary states, if you are a prince by blood there is still somethings you have to keep in mind. what is that?(The answer is written in the book. But you are welcome to make some improvements, or to give examples)

A1 : You should not break ancient customs. And you still have to suit your actions to unexpected events.

If you were a Kelt, you had to listen to the things the druid told you. If you were and incan, you had to make animal or human sactrifices to the Sun god. You can't change customs if you want to make your people happy. But on top of those customs, you have to beware of the countries next to you. Sacrifices won't help when a troop of soldiers knock on your door.

Q2. Niccolo Machiavelli says sending colonies into the conquered state is the logical way of doing things. What is your opinion on that?

A2 : It might be better than stationing troops every few miles. But it's illogical that people, who wouldn't have caused any trouble if left alone, has to be driven out to make place for the people arriving.

At least, if they had done something wrong in advence it could be justified. This is like picking straws to see who gets sacrified
