A fox was boasting to a cat that he knew many clever ways of escaping from his enemies. The fox proudly said, ¡°You have many good ideas. I have a lot of tricks. I am smart because I can come up with hundreds of ways of escaping from my enemies.¡±
Listening to what fox was saying, the cat quietly replied. ¡°I have only one.¡± The fox teased the cat for having only one idea. ¡°You have only one idea? That means you are not as smart as me.¡± The cat said, ¡°I have only one way of escaping from the enemies, but it always helps me and makes me feel safe.¡±
Just at that moment, they heard a pack of hounds approaching them. The cat immediately climbed up a tree and hid herself under big leaves and branches.
The fox proudly said, ¡°Watch me. This is my plan.¡± But the fox¡¯s plan did not work out. He thought of other ways, but they all did not work out.
While the fox was trying other ways, the hounds approached him and a hunter killed him.
Better one safe way than a hundred unworkable plans.
