우리딸도 'THE GIVING TREE'처럼 베풀줄 아는 사람이 되길 바라는 마음에서 말이죠.
다행히 우리 딸도 그책을 참 좋아한답니다.
그래서 우리 지현이랑 'THE GIVING TREE'를 만들어 보았답니다.
< 전지에 TRUNK를 그리고 색칠합니다.>
<색종이로 나뭇잎과 사과를 만들어 잘라두고 지현이가 직접 풀을 칠해서 붙이도록합니다.모든 아이들이 그러하듯이 스티커처럼 붙이는거 무지좋아한답니다.>
<그림옆에는 책에나온 내용을 간단하게 그림을 그려 정리해서 같이 얘기해보았습니다.>
Mom : Jihyun, Let's make the giving tree.
Jihyun : Yes, Mom
M : What kind of tree is the giving tree?
J : It's an apple tree.
M : Right. Look at this. What's this?
J : It's a trunk.
M : Yes, Trees have a trunk. Then what do we need to make the tree anything else?
J : Leaves and apples.
M : That's right. Put the leaves and apples on the tree with glue.
J : Okay, mom.
(Jihyun put the leaves and apples on the tree by herself)
M : Wow. There are many apples hanging from the tree. How many apples are hanging from the tree?
J : Let count together.
J,M : One, two, three.......

J : A house.
M : That's right. We cut off branches and can build our house. Jihyun, which part of tree can we make a boat?
J : A trunk.
M : Good. We cut down the trunk and can make a boat, right? Then the little boy took her apples away, cut off her branches, and cut down here trunk. now what does the tree have left?
J : Nothing left.
M : I don't think so. She is a stump. So the old boy sat down and rested on the stump. The giving tree gave the little boy everything what she had. So she was happy. You should be a girl like The giving tree.okay?
