There was a chimpanzee whose ship had sunk to the bottom of the sea. So he was cringing on a small rock waiting for someone to come and help him.
A dolphin that was passing by the chimpanzee saw him. She swam fast to him and helped him. ¡°Do you want me to give you a hand? I can carry you on my back to the shore.¡± The dolphin kindly asked. ¡°That will be great.¡± The chimpanzee delightfully answered.
As the dolphin was carrying the chimpanzee on his back to the shore, the chimpanzee was telling fish lies about how brave and adventurous he was. He was telling fish about adventures he went on. But his stories sounded untrue.
At last, when they almost arrived on the shore, the dolphin asked the chimpanzee whether he knew about the origin of the name of the shore. Because the dolphin did not want to seem ignorant, he made up another story to pretend like he knew it. The dolphin finally got angry at him so dropped him into the water.
A liar deceives no one but himself.
