히히~소방서 안을 구경을 할라고 일찍 나섰는데...출동을 하셔서 빈 소방서만 들여다보고, 남는 시간에 동네를 산책하기로 했죠. 조용하고 아늑하고...유난히 고요한 이동네의 아침. 남의집 나무아래핀 나팔 수선화(daffodil) 아하~ㅎㅎ 동네가 유난히 고요한 이윤,이동네 집 모양새에서 결론이 나오더군요. 이 동넨 방갈로(bungalow) 동네. 단층짜리 집으로 주로 활동량이 적은 노인분들이 선호하는 집들이 모인 동네더라구요. 현재 제가 사는 집은 지하부터 지상 2층까지 그야말로 3층을 완전히 다 사용하는 아주 다리가 아파아파~그러면서 오르락 내리락..합니다. 그래서 저도 다음엔 방갈로로 갈꺼다..라고 남편에게 말하니 눈을 흘깁니다. 울매나 비싼디..라면서요..ㅎㅎ 요즘들어서 특히나 계단만 보면 아~하고 한숨이 나오니..스티브가 좀 무거워야죠..ㅉㅉ 그날따라 햇볕 받은 단층짜리 집들은 빤짝빤짝~^*^ 도서관앞 화단에서..노란 민들레(dandelion)를 똑똑 따며...ㅎㅎ 동네를 한바퀴 돌았는데도..시간이 남아 도서관 앞 정원에다가 스티브를 내려놓고, 전 참을수 없는 유혹에 넘어가서 일을 시작했습니다...?? daffodil,dandelion,Tulip을 여기서는 봄꽃이라고들 하지만 민들레는 환영받지 못하는 봄꽃입니다. 큰일이란 바로 환영받지 못한 꽃,민들레 뽑기~ㅎㅎ 여기선 민들레는 잔디에겐 최고의 적입니다. 보이는 쪽쪽 뽑아야지..안그럼 순식간에 잔디밭은 민들레 밭이 되어버립니다. 간혹 잔디보다 민들레 농사를 더 잘 짓는 집들이 보이는데요. 그렇케 되는건 삼일정도면 충분합니다..ㅎㅎ 저희집엔 민들레의 '민'자도 없어요. 제가 출근하는 남편을 따라 나와서 손 흔들곤 어디 올라온게 있나 없나~순찰을 돌거든요..ㅠㅠ 옆집이랑 앞 잔디는 붙있어서 옆집까지 순찰을~^^ 이웃을 잘 만나야 민들레 농사를 안짓는 행운을 누릴수 있거든요. 그래서 전 예방차원에서 제가 옆집까지 걍 뽑습니다..ㅎㅎ 최근에 다른분들과 통화를 하면 민들레 뽑는데 이틀 걸렷다...라고들 하셔요. 민들레가 그리 무서운 꽃일줄이야.ㅎㅎ 그날 아침 제가 도서관 정원의 민들레는 적어도 20개 이상은 뽑았을겁니다. 큼직하니 좌우로 몇번만 돌리면 쑤욱~하고 빠집니다. 와~민들레 뿌리 참말로 장난이 아닙니다.한 손으로는 그 길이를 젤 수 없는것도. 뽑으면서 절로 머리속에서 외칩니다. '이게 산삼이면~얼마나 조아' '아냐..걍 인삼이라도...^^' '아님..반찬이라도 할 수 있다면...' 자~수업 들어갑니다..^^ Welcome (박수를 치면서~) Oh the sun is up and the world is awake. and the birds are sining in the moring. ( 왼팔 흔들고) This little baby crawled on the carpet (오른쪽 다리 흔들고)) This little baby bumped her head.(왼쪽 다리 흔들고) This little baby played hide 'n' seek(찾는척하며 아이 얼굴을 보고) Where's that little baby? (손으로 엄마 얼굴을 가리고) Oo-oo-ooh,peek a boo!!!!(짠~) 수업 끝나도 안일어나더라구요..ㅎㅎ (두 다리를 뻗어 아이를 안히고 몸을 좌우로 움직이며) Father and Mother and Uncle John went to the market one by one. Father fell off.(우로 넘어졌다 일어난다) Mother fell off(좌로 넘어졌다 일어난다); but Uncle John rode on and on.(다리를 마구 흔들어준다) Father fell off. Mother fell off;but Uncle John rode on and on. Wibbleton to Wobbleton Wobbleton to Wibbleton From Wibbleton to Wibbleton is fiffteen miles. 너 머해?? 결국 둘이 커텐으로~^^ roly poly ever so slowly roly poly,faster,faster,faster! roly poly,up,up,up(무릎에 앉은 아이를 세우면서) roly poly,down,down,down(무릎으로 앉히면서) roly poly,in,in,in!(아이몸을 원 중심으로) roly poly,out,out,out!(아이몸을 제 위치로) roly poly,ever so slowly roly poly,faster,faster,faster! 오늘의 주제는 벌레(bug) 늘 즐겨하는 내용에 오늘은 책과 벌레 인형들(메뚜기,잠자리,무당벌레...)을 보여주셧어요. 아빠~ 난 서서 볼래. 메뚜기(grasshopper)~ The eentsy weentsy spider went up the water spout, Down came the rain And washed the spider out.
