Mrs. Brice’s pets are mice. Not just one, but twenty-five mice!
One small mouse is a different than the others.
Read to find out what Mrs. Brice and her mice do.
Look for number words in the story.
1 - one 6 - six 11 - eleven 20 - twenty
2 - two 7 - seven 12 - twelve
3 - three 8 - eight
4 - four 9 - nine
5 - five 10 - ten
I have four pet cats. Sometimes Ithink that four is too many cats!
I cannot imagine having twenty-five pet mice! Can you?
Think about which animals make good pets while you read.
