Hey guys! We are high schoolers from Champaign, Illinois and we are excited to announce that today is the start of our first week studying many of the popular American novels
Alice in Wonderland is truly a great American classic. It¡¯s about a young girl who follows a rabbit into a hole that leads her into a whole new world! She meets all kinds of animals along the way, and has a fun adventure. In the end, she wakes up as if everything was just a dream. But was it really a dream? Or did she actually travel to a new world? The second short answer question asks what you think about Alice¡¯s trip.
The homework this week has a total of three easy steps, and the homework format for the upcoming weeks will be very similar. The first step is to read Alice in Wonderland. Try to read it at least two times, once out loud and once in your head.
Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a vocabulary, multiple choice, simple question, short answer, and a creativity section. Make sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures may help you remember what happened. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.
The creative section (Have Fun) this week asks you to draw one of the animals you saw in the book. Make sure to color your animal with many different colors and make it pretty. Be proud!
We hope that you will have a fun time reading Alice in Wonderland and finishing the worksheet. Don¡¯t forget to post your answers, and we will see you next week!
