Hey guys! How are you all doing? This is Kevin here bringing you a brand new novel in the series once again from Champaign, Illinois! I hope you all had a wonderful week! Mine sure was busy, especially since finals are approaching. It¡¯s finally wintertime, and you know what that means! Snow!! It¡¯s not snowing too much here in Champaign, but I wonder if it is snowing more in Korea. As Christmas approaches, let¡¯s make sure to be good people so Santa will give us presents!

The book this week is The Little Mermaid. It is a really famous story about a mermaid that falls in love with a prince. Gee, it must be really cold for the mermaids down under the sea! This story has quite a sad ending, but I don¡¯t want to spoil it for you. Let¡¯s find out what happens together.

Anyway, have fun reading this great book, and the homework instructions are still the same.
     1. The first step is to read The Little Mermaid. Try to read it at least two times, once out

         loud and once in your head.
     2. Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a

         vocabulary, multiple choice, simple question, short answer, and a creativity section.  

         Make sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures

         may help you remember what happened.
       3. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.

I hope you have fun reading this book, because I sure did! Let¡¯s be thankful that we aren¡¯t in situations like Little Mermaid is in, because her life is very sad. Make sure to be positive and listen to your parents! Santa is watching you~ We will see you next week with another brand new book!!
