Hey guys it¡¯s Kevin bringing you our new book in the series: The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse. This book is about two clashing cultures that can be seen even in our world today, and how they differ. Things such as food, transportation, clothes, houses, etc. are very different depending on where you live in the world, and this was shown very well in this novel.

It¡¯s very important to be aware of different cultures and lifestyles people may have, and we must learn to respect them. Don¡¯t be mean or judge others because they do different things or wear different clothes or say different things. Always remember that they may just be used to living in their own ways.

Have fun reading this book and the instructions are the same as always.
   1. The first step is to read The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse. Try to read it at
       least two times, once out loud and once in your head.
   2. Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a
      vocabulary, multiple choice, simple question, short answer, and a creativity section.
      Make sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures may
      help you remember what happened.
   3. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.

Winter break is coming to an end, and I hope you guys enjoyed it just as much as I did. I actually went on a trip to see my friends in California, which is very far away. Even I noticed the differences between Illinois and California, just as the country and the city were different in this book. We will see you all next week!
