Hey guys!!! It¡¯s Kevin bringing you this week¡¯s novel and worksheet. Are we all ready to get started on our first book of our new series? We sure are! We are really excited to be working with you all again, and we have a bunch more cool and fun books and worksheets for you guys! Do you all like superheros? I sure do - my favorite superhero is Iron Man. I wish I could have a suit like that.

Our first book is called ¡°The New Team¡±. I wonder what the new team is going to be like...Are there more Avengers that we don¡¯t know about? I can¡¯t wait to learn about new superheros!

Anyway, have fun reading this great book, and the homework instructions are still the same.
     1. The first step is to read The New Team. Try to read it at least two times, once out loud

         and once in your head. You can also use the provided CD¡¯s for the books that have

         them and listen to the speaker read the book out loud to you.
     2. Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a  

        vocabulary, multiple choice, short answer, application, and a creativity section. Make

        sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures may help

        you remember what happened.
     3. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.

There have been a lot of new movies that came out about superheros lately, such as Antman, and I have heard many new ones are going to come out too! My friends and I are very excited for Batman vs. Superman - we are definitely going to watch that one. I hope you all enjoy reading about the New Avenger team. Don¡¯t forget to finish the worksheet! Have fun with the creativity section - that¡¯s what it¡¯s all about!
