Hello to you all! It¡¯s Kevin again bringing you this week¡¯s book and worksheet. My friend Aaditya couldn¡¯t work on the worksheet this week, so I am doing it for him. All us students are getting really busy now, since we have lots of tests to study for and lots of homework to complete. Do you all have lots of homework too? I hope you don¡¯t have as much as us...

Our second book is called ¡°These are THE AVENGERS¡±. We looked at some superheros last week, and this week we are looking at some more! There are some that we already know, like Hulk and Thor, but there are new ones such as Wasp that we don¡¯t know about yet. Let¡¯s dive in!

1. The first step is to read These are THE AVENGERS. Try to read it at least two times,
    once out loud and once in your head. You can also use the provided CD¡¯s for the  

    books that have them and listen to the speaker read the book out loud to you.
2. Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a 
    vocabulary, multiple choice, short answer, application, and a creativity section.

    Make sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures

    may help you remember what happened.
3. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.

I hope you all were able to understand our slightly new worksheet format! How is the
Application section? I hope that you all can really learn to recognize the different types of things these authors want you all to learn. Superheros and comics are all fun, but there¡¯s more than just fun in these books. I asked you guys last week, but what is your favorite superhero? Did it change after reading about some new ones?
