Hello all, it¡¯s Isaac bringing you this weeks book ¡°These are the X-¡©Men¡±. I¡¯ve always been a fan of the X¡©-Men, and I can¡¯t wait to get into this book! As a kid I¡¯ve always watched all the X¡©-Men movies and I always liked Wolverine the best. I hope he¡¯s going to be in this book too.

Anyway, have fun reading this great book, and the homework instructions are still the same.
     1. The first step is to read These are the X¡©-Men. Try to read it at least two times, once

         out loud and once in your head. You can also use the provided CD¡¯s for the books

         that have them and listen to the speaker read the book out loud to you.
     2. Next, fill out the worksheet we posted. The worksheet has five parts. There is a 
         vocabulary, multiple choice, short answer, application, and a creativity section. Make 
         sure to go back to the book when finding some of the answers. The pictures may

         help you remember what happened.
     3. Take a picture of your worksheet and upload it.

I never knew there were so many different kinds of X-¡©Men! Now I¡¯m not so sure if Wolverine is my favorite. Colossus seems really cool and Polaris looks awesome too! Which one is your favorite? Make sure to write about him/her and draw your favorite X¡©-Men in the Creativity section this week. Have fun, and we will see you next week~!
