Down on the Farm
1. Talk about farm animal and wild animal
(아이들이 어려서 혹은 아직 잘 말할 수 없다면, 교사가 미리 단어를 늘어놓거나, 단어와 그림을 같이 두어서 섞은 뒤 아이들에게 분류 하라고 해도 된다.)
2. Ask children to share what they know about the farm animal.
And record their responses on a web.
(이때 가능하면 책에 나오는 동물 중심으로 합니다.)

3. Read the book
a. 먼저 cover page를 보며 이야기를 합니다.
-- Look at the cover page. Where is it?
--- Farm.
-- Yes, you're right. What can you see?
--- I can see children and animals.
-- Yes, What are they doing?
--- I think they are feeding and playing with animals.
-- How about the animals?
--- They are sleepy.
-- Why?
--- Because, they eat too much food.
b. Read aloud(Read the story dramatically)

4. word- Field, fence, pen, porch, barn, straw, wagon
phonics- /oo/cock-a-doodle-doo, moo, woof
a.단어는 그림 카드를 이용해서 뜻과 단어를 읽힌다.
b./oo/를 책에 나온 단어를 이용해서 익혀본다.
그 외에 어떤 단어에 들어있는지 생각하고 말해본다.
School, pool, spoon.......
5. Make animal mask
동물 가면을 만들어서 Tape에 맞추어 노래를 불러 봅니다. 각자 맡은 역할에 맞추어서 부르게 합니다.
6. Write song
Think of places you have visited and invent new version of song.
ex)Down at the home
Mommy in the kitchen say," Eat a meal........"
Daddy in the bathroom say, "La la la....."
Baby in the room say," Wah wah wah...."
Sister in the livingroom say,"Ssh ssh ssh......."
Song [The Wheels on the bus]
