어제.. 유난히 일도 많고 바빴던 하루를 보내고..
낮잠까지 안 주무시는 딸내미 덕에 늦게 글 올립니다.
자~~ 두번째 책~ Excuse Me! 들어갑니다.
이 책은 많이 알지 못하시는 책일거예요.
좀 지저분학 저러운 느낌?? 도 있지만 아이들에게 매너 가르치는데 좋은 책 같아요.
재미도 있구요. ㅎㅎ
먼저 이 책의 작가에 대해.. 알아보자구요.
Lisa Kopelke라는 분.. 어떤분일런지.. 궁금하네요.
Lisa Kopelke was born in the sixties to parents who were “borderline” hippies.They lived in the suburbs of San Diego, California, in a typical house, butthe collection of eclectic friends & neighbors made for a very atypicalupbringing. 너무 재미있을 것 같아요.

Frog는 먹는 걸 아주 좋아하고 트림하는 것도 좋아합니다.
아기였을 때는 트림을 해도 칭찬 받았지요.
잘먹는구나.. 아유.. 귀여워라.. 요렇게요.
헉.. 이 개구리.. 정말 모든걸 다 먹네요.

전 넘어가는데 울 아들은 꺅~ 하면서 소리지르고 좋아 죽습니다.
흠.. 왜 남자 애들은 이리 무섭고 징그럽고 더러운걸 즐길까요? ㅋㅋ
점점 자라면서.. 모두가 트림하는 것을 즐기는 건 아니라는걸 알게 되지요.
입을 가리고 얼굴을 돌려버리고..
어느날 우리의 frog가 커다란 트림을 하자 친구들이 모두 도망가 버리지요.
참다 못한 마을 사람들은 회의를 열고.. frog를 강 위쪽으로 ㅤㅉㅗㅈ아내 버리네요.
여행 중.. 익숙한 소리에 이끌려 오게 된 강 위쪽의 어느 마을...
온갖 종류의 개구리들이 모여 살고 먹고 트림하는걸 정말 자유롭게 하는 곳이었어요.
너무 너무 신난 frog... 하루종일 트림하고 먹고 자고..
심지어는 자면서도 트림을 하네요. 
그러나 곧 알게 되지요.
이 마을 개구리들은 트림을 멈추지도 않고 절대 excuse me~라는 말을 하지 않는다는 사실을요.
뭔가 매스껍고 불편해지기 시작하는 frog...
어느날.. 자기 고향마을에서 frog Jam을 개최한다는 광고를 보게 되고 집으로 돌아가기로 결심합니다.
물론.. 변장을 하구요. ㅎㅎ
시장의 아기가 트림을 하자 이를 필두로 온 마을 개구리들이 트림을 하지요.
우리의 frog는 트림을 참으려고 노력해 봤지만 더이상 참지 못하고 트림을 하네요.
아주 아주 큰 트림을 하는 바람에 변장 용품들이 다 날아가고 마을 개구리들이 깜짝 놀랐을 때..
우리의 frog.. 한마디를 외칩니다.
Excuse me!~~
실레라는 말을 하게 된 우리의 frog를 환영해서 맞아주는 마을 친구들~~
우리의 주인공은 먹는것도 트림하는 것도 좋아하지만 친구들을 가장 사랑하기로 결심한답니다.
왠지 더럽고 징그러울 것만 같은 책이지만 내용은 아이들에게 매너를 가르쳐 주는 좋은 책이예요.
아들 있는 집에서는 대부분 이 책.. 좋아할거예요.
얌전한 딸내미들이라면.. 고려해 보셔야 하구요. ^^
아이들은징그럽고지저분한이야기도좋아해요.ㅋㅋ
