Summary
Have you heard of Bullying? Bully is a bad thing. It means that some powerful person intimidate some weak people. Bullied person can be traumatized, be hurting.
About a quarter of a million years ago, human had to cooperated for survival. at that time, the alpha male also exist, but people didn't admit the strong man abuse his power. The ancient people don't want to have a bully around.
Nowadays, about 27% american workforce has experienced bully at their work. Bullying is something that is intentional and repetitive. Because the intention can be interpreted differently, it is very important part of bullying.
In workplace some people are more confident and demanding than others. Although the supervisors don't mean to bully anymore, the subordinate think that they are bullied. So it is very important to accurate perception of the supervisor's behavior.
