Tae-kyun: Hey, Dae-ho, are you free this Saturday? We are having a small farewell party for Shin-soo. He is going to the U.S. to live and study.

Dae-ho: Yeah. I heard about that. I will really miss him. I think it would be good to learn also other subjects in English too. That would mean more students could stay and study in Korea, instead of going to other countries to learn English.

Tae-kyun: But we are Koreans. It is important to learn the Korean language properly, especially when we are young. Also, many students will have difficulties understanding what teachers are saying.

Dae-ho: You have a point. But many of us go to hagwons to learn English. If we learn many subjects in English, then we may not have to spend much time studying it after school.

Tae-kyun: I don¡¯t really think so. Since we have to understand what the teacher says, I think many students will have to take more English classes after school. That¡¯s not good at all.

Dae-ho: But it could be fun learning many different things in English. Don¡¯t you think so?
