I was shocked to know summer-born kids do worse in tests at school and are less likely to go to universities or colleges.
When I was young, most parents wanted for their children to admit to school one or two years earlier than others. Because they thought it is more profitable for them to start school early. One of the merits could be if the children fail to admit to university, they still would have one year to try again as an extra year.
Three siblings of mine had started their school at seven. To be honest, my older sister was born on June. So, she had an older sister in the lower grade. I've heard she had some trouble with her friends when she talked about the age. Sometimes it made her to feel uncomfortable even guilty.
Anyway, as a mother I would like to make my kids to be happy at school. And I don't want them to feel sorry about their age difference with their friends.
welcome~~welcome!!!!

I also agree to your opinion as a mother.
I don't wnat my kids to feel uncomfortable in their classroom because of their age difference.
