전래동요에서 많이 들어와서 친숙한 음악을 예쁜 그림과 뚫려진 구멍을 통해서 호기심을 유발해주는 책입니다.
나이와 인종과 성별과 장애/비장애의 구별이 없이 모두 함께 음악을 연주하는 커버페이지가 많은 걸 알려주는 것 같습니다.
여러 가족이 모여 사는 작은 아파트가 있고 각 집의 창문에 있는 커튼이 열릴 때 마다 각기 다른 악기가 차례로 등장합니다. 다양한 사람들과 각각의 애완동물들이 피아노, 섹소폰, 드럼, 실로폰, 바이올린, 트럼본을 즐기면서 하나씩 소리를 더하여 마지막엔 아름다운 하모니를 이루게 되지요.

2. Making a guitar
신나게 연주를 하게 한 후 재활용품을 이용하여 악기를 만드는 활동을 해봅니다.
다른 분들의 활용후기를 보시면 마라카스, 빨대피리, 고무풍선을 이용한 북, 물컵실로폰 등 많은 악기를 만드실 수 있으며 기타를 만들어 보겠습니다.
준비물 : 뚜껑 있는 튼튼한 상자, 랩 속심 혹은 치약상자 , 고무줄 여러 개, 풀, 종이, 가위, 할핀

Cut out a big circle out of the big box. 큰상자 가운데에 크게 둥근 원모양으로 오려라.
tape the long box on the big box to make a neck. 기타의 목 부분을 만들기 위해 긴 상자를 큰 상자에 테잎으로 고정한다.
Make six holes in a row next to the big round hole. 큰 둥근 구멍 옆에 한줄로 6개의 구멍을 뚫는다.

Put Y-pins to each holes. 각각의 구멍에 할핀을 넣어요.
Tie strings with different tension. 각각 다른 강도로 고무줄을 묶는다.

3. 가베를 이용하여 악기 만들기
집에 많이들 가지고 계시는 가베를 이용하여 피아노, 바이올린, 실로폰, 트럼펫을 만들어봅니다.
