A jargon is a word that only particular groups of people can understand. So, for example, gangs use it to communicate without police understanding what they are talking about. However, jargon is not used only for bad purpose. Doctors use jargon at the hospital to communicate quickly. Teenagers use jargon, too. They become closer to each other by making their own jargon. Police and the army uses jargon a lot. The purpose is similar with gangs. They need to communicate secretly, and at the army, if other countrys can understand their communication, then they will lose at the war. Jargon is used a lot for many purposes. I think that a jargon is a good way to communicate.
