볼로냐 국제아동도서전이 열립니다~!!
행사 마지막날이네요~ 수상작과 이 상에 대해서 정리해 보았습니다.
볼로냐 국제아동도서전은 세계 최고 규모의 어린이 도서 행사 중 하나입니다.
이 행사에서는 볼로냐 라가치 상을 제정, 시상하고 있습니다.
이 상은 언어, 국가에 상관없이 훌륭한 그림책에게 수여되는데요~
그래서 한국 작가들도 꾸준히 수상하고 있네요~
올해에도 한국 작가들이 선정되었습니다.~!!
이 상이 어떤 상인지와 수상작품 한 번 보실까요?

먼저 볼로냐 라가치 상에 대해서 좀 더 알아보겠습니다.
라가치 상은 기본적으로
픽션, 논픽션, Opera Prima (<< 신인상) 이렇게 3 부문과 매 해 새로운 분야의 수상이 있습니다! 수상은 winner와 mention 이렇게 두 종류가 있습니다.
올 해에는 41개국에서 1417개 작품이 출품되었다고 합니다.
올해 주목한 부분은 일러스트가 중요한 역할을 하는 새로운 형태의 보드북과, 접이식 책, 작은 책과 큰 책에 집중했다고 합니다!!
픽션부문에서는 교훈을 주는, 쉽기만 한 이야기가 아니라,
아이들의 이해 능력을 인정하면서 , 은유적인 그림들이 이야기를 이끌어가는 이야기로 선정됩니다.
논픽션 선정 도서들은 새로운 학제간 주제와 현대적인 테마와 스타일로, 우리에게 넓고 혁신적인 제안을 합니다. 다양한 주제들이 있었지만, 대표적인 3가지 주제가 있었습니다.
-미국 시위에서부터 점점 더 인기있는 여성의 전기까지 현실세계와 이야기에 반영되는 여성들의 이야기
- 시집, 책 속의 책 등 독서와 글쓰기에 강한 관심을 만들어주는 책
- 유명 작가이자 어린이 책을 처음 출간한 사람의 전기부터 공공도서관을 세운 자선사업가의 이야기

For both, the blue desert of the ocean and the vast blue of the sky signify their common dream: to fly. A recurrent theme in children’s literature, aviation is here given a new narrative that weaves together real events in the story of man’s attempts to fly with a poetic homage to human affinity. While Europe, aptly overshadowed in black, is still enveloped in the First World War, America is depicted in traditional Native American colours. The illustrations are an arresting narrative in themselves, combining Bauhaus geometries with unexpected colour schemes and a meticulous array of textures that although reminiscent of Modernism, create their own visual universe: a world of aeroplanes and wild horses, of national frontiers that lie like scars on the land, but also of men who meet and recognize their mutual dreams without having to say a word.
