둘째 아이 학교에서 했던 수학공부입니다.
연산말고 풀이문제(?)인데요. 영어로는 Problem Solving이라고 하더라구요. Story Poblem이라고도 하나봐요.
따지고 보면 쉬운 더하기, 빼기이지만 영어공부를 하는 차원에서 하나씩 읽어보고 풀어보면 좋을것 같아요.
문제속에 있는 영어 표현 또한 유용하고 많이 쓰는 표현이니 반복적인 여러가지 문제를 풀어보면서 표현도 익히구요..
여기서는 problem solving을 중요시 여기고 많이 한답니다. 연산 반복연습은 별로 안하구요.
문제를 풀때 주의할점.
1)문제 푸는 과정을 꼭 보여줘야해요. 어떻게 해서 그 식이 나왔는지 그림이나 숫자로요.
2)답을 쓸때 단위를 꼭 씁니다. 예를들면 풍선 9개에서 5개가 터지고 4개가 남았다면 답은 4가 아니가 4 balloons라는 거죠..저희 큰아이 선생님은 전에 단위 안써도 다 틀렸다고 하더라구요..처음부터 쓰는 습관을 들여야 좋을것 같아요.
3)아이에게 문제에 나오는 내용의 그림을 그리면서 풀라고 하면 재미있어 할거예요.
4)수학공부를 하는게 아니라 영어공부를 한다고 생각하고 답보다는 문제를 읽는 연습, 그리고 그 속에 있는 단어와 표현을 공부하는 방향으로 하면 도움이 될것 같아요..
5)그리고 한페이지 한페이지마다 칭찬의 말과 재미있는 그림으로 아이들을 북돋아 주세요~~~
