1. What are clouds made of?

Clouds are made of little drops of water or ice hanging in the upper atmosphere high above earth.

2. What are different kinds of clouds. Name all clouds you can remember from the book.

I can remember cirrus, cumulus, fog, cumulonimbus.

3. Write about the Native Americans¡¯ cloud story.

Before, people looked at the clouds and saw things. The Native Americans saw thunder birds in dark storm clouds.

4. Write about Labrador¡¯s story about fog?

In Labrador people believed that fog was caused by a white bear who drank too much water and blow up.

5. Write some sayings that tell about the weather.

There are sayings ¡®Many drops make a shower.¡¯ It means no matter how small it is, when it piles up, it can do big work.

And ¡®April showers bring May flowers.¡¯ It means after it rains, the soil becomes rich and flowers begin to blossom. Something good may happen as a result of unpleasant events.

There is also, ¡®Make hay while the sun shines.¡¯ It means Take advantage of ant opportunity to do something before it passes. Passing an opportunity is always regretful.

 

6. Write three sentences using [If you verb~, you might Verb~.]

e.g.) If you walk underneath the clouds, you might feel some drizzle.

If you see a fog, you might think a white bear who burst.

If you fly a kite on a windy day, you might fly a kite high and far.
