제가 이 책을 읽는 동안 큰아이가 관심을 보여서 몇 챕터씩 읽으며 얘기해 주었거든요.
19챕터부터 마지막까지 읽고 얘기해줬더니 너무 슬프다네요. 그래서 잠이 안온다고...
전 아이와 느낌이 약간 달랐는데.. 여러분은 읽고 나서 어떻게 느끼시는지 궁금하네요.

내가 거미줄을 짠 건 내가 너를 좋아하기 때문이고..
어쨌든 삶은 무엇일까? 삶이란 태어나고 한동안 살다가 죽는거지.
덫을 놓아 파리를 잡아먹는것이 전부라면 거미의 삶은 쓰레기 더미의 어떤것도 도울수가 없어.
너를 도와줌으로 해서 아마도 나는 나의 하챦은 삶을 향상시키고자 한거야.
누구의 삶도 조금씩은 그런것이 있어"
~한글로 옮기고 보니 좀 어색하네요.
결론은' 세상에 누구를 위한다는 삶은 없다'라고 받아들였습니다.
누군가를 돕는다는것도 결국은 나를 향상시키게 되고,
자식에게 희생봉사하는것 같지만 함께 크는거겠지요.
봉사활동나가시는 분들이 그러시지요.첨엔 도우러갔지만
알고보니 돕고있는내가 더 행복해졌고 내가 도움을 오히려 받고 있다고요.
이글보며 그말의 뜻을 온전히 알게되었어요.
아직은 못하고 있지만
베품 또한 값진 삶임에 동감합니다^^
