1. Do you sympathies with M. Bonacieux's situation? or do you repulse his behaivior?
2. D'Artagnan is a brave soldier, brave and sort of rash. State what you admire about him.
To be answered by 3/3 after reading ch14~ch26(273p) of the three musketeers.
1. I certainly do not have sympathies for M. Bonacieux. He grovels to a man if it considers money and riches. He decieves, than he kneels to a man he have just decieved. I believe that other, more nobler kind of men would have gone through the same situations with his nobility safe in his heart. Therefore, I cannot have sympathies with M. Bonacieux.
2. D'Artagnan is very brave, no doubt about that, and he would charge into any sort of danger for a men he is loyal to. He has excellent sword skills, but that does not leave him stupid! D'Artagnan posseses a sharp mind that often surprises and impresses him friends. And finally, he has a heart that fits a nobleman. He is brave, generous, and loyal. And I admire his attitude.
