1. Athos, after the attack of the innkeeper, stayed in the celler till d'Artagnan came. What do you think was the cause of his behavior? Injured pride? or perhaps for extra protection? What would you have done in his place?

2. The musketeers have an uncanny habit of making bets and throwing dice. If it was allowed to you, how much would you gamble?

2. I wouldn't gamble even for a penny. Sometimes, dishonest people try to gamble on purpose that the possibilites of winning of two gamblers are not the same. Even though the gambling was fair, and you wouldn't lose a lot of things when you lose, gambling is a habit, a bad habit. If you gamble with small amounts of money, later the habit will grow and grow, and later you will find yourself gambling with large amounts of money. Money should not be earned by gambling and playing with money, it should be earned by hard work. I personally don't like taking risks, even tiny ones.

1. I believe Athos stayed in the cellar for both injured pride and extra protection. It would have been hard for him to admit that he had been injured in a fight, since he was a musketeer, which proves he was chosen specially for his great skill and bravery. He also needed a place to stay where his and his lackey's safety would be ensured, and would be provided with enough food. The ******** that met all of these needs was certainly the cellar. However, if I was Athos, I would gone down fighting until the end, then set out to find d'Artagnan. I would come back and take revenge when I had enough reinforcements for backup.

2. I would not gamble the least bit, even when I have a lack of money. Gambling is too dangerous. People could lose a lot of money and win it back again at once. Gambling is too much of a risk, so I would never try it. Also, I think it is morally wrong. I do not think people should play with money or other important possessions just for fun.

1. Athos might have stayed  in the celler for extra precaution. Because d'Artagnan was doing something opponent to the cardinal many mans of the cardinal would have attack him. Even injured, Athos would have stayed in the cellar to protect d'Artagnan in case that extra attact might come out.

2. I wouldn't gamble anything because gambling is also a habit. And if we gamble frequently then we will try to solve every problem with gambling.

1. I think that Athos had injured pride. Afterall, he is the king's musketeers and he was a great skill so I think that the reason why Athos stayed in the celler till d'Artagnan came is that Athos's injured pride. If I were him, I will never act like that. Though I would definitely hurted my pride like Athos, I won't have stayed in the celler, because I have a work to do.
2. Well, I will not gamble a one bit. Because if I gamble or making bets often, I will became so used to it, and I think it's not a good sign. I think taht gambling is like a drug. Every time you lose your money you gets more angry and angry and gambles more money. Or due to the fact that musketeers are mostly hot tempered, they will start fighting and some may be hurt. So that's the reason that I will not gamble. And anyway, I don't know how to gamble so, yeah.
