A1. Kolya is a smart kid and he probably knows what the risks are ofr doing something. But he has a lot of pride. It is always annoying to have a grown-up tell you that you are too young for something. Doesn't seem like growing older will change your world. But people learn, and change. Try to remember the time when you first learned about multiplying. The multiplication table was so hard to memorize. Right now, you're probably thinking 'I was much youner them. I can do that stuff easily now. Sounds a bit like what the grown-up had been trying to tell you. You musn't take offense when they say you won't understand. You will understand, but a year or two later you would understand it a little differently. A true adult is someone who understands that. It is childish to pretend people don't change. Kolya couldn't admit he was young. He had to 'be the man'. To prove it, he pulled stunts to show his cleverness and bravery. But all that really did was show how childish he was.
A2. I would like to say that life itself is an act. Everyone follows the rules of life, that is, to age and to die. Inside this simple urle, we carry on in this big play. The world is our stage and we are all actors and spectators at the same time.
