Hello everyone!
I am very happy to see you all.
I am a leader of 17±â book club, Andy Par. Or ¹Úº´ÁÖ.
I am currently a student at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. I am a sophomore right now, and am half way in to my second year at Woodberry.
Here. I will be posting worksheets every week. There are vocabulary section, reading comprehension question section, and an essay part in a worksheet. For vocabulary, you just need to find words that you don't know and write them down. For questions, they are based on the reading you will do. You will have to answer them in a paragraph. I don't require you to answer them perfectly in a paragraph, but just try your best still. For essays, they are just writing an essay. You are basically writing a short story of a given topic. Same for this, I just want you all try your best.
I am pretty sure that we are going to have some new students joining our book club. I am looking forward to see you guys and welcome!!
It's been only a few months since I have been a leader here. However, I have seen lots of fantastic works by young kids. It should be very challenging and I know that most of you really don't like doing the worksheets, but all of you still have been performing very nicely. I was very impressed with your work.
Well, the series we are going to read this time is even more challenging in my opinion. The books are consisted more of drawings than actual words, but the story itself is somewhat difficult to understand. However, I believe that you all can complete the worksheet.
You will meet new people and get to know each other through this book club. I hope you enjoy your time with us. I am very excited to see you all, and again welcome!
For our series, we will read in the following order:
Christmas Tapestry, Emma Kate, The Bee Tree, The Butterfly, When Lightning Comes in a Jar, Babushka's Doll, My Rotten Redheaded Older Brother, The Keeping Quilt, Thunder Cake, Mrs. Katz and Tush, Thank You, Mr.Falker
This might not be in the order that you guys have, but this seems like a good order in terms of lengths of the books. It will get longer every week, and together, more challenging.
I will post our first book's worksheet next week, so get ready to have fun!
Old and new students, I am looking forward to see your works next week. Have a great week and I'll see you all next week.
