4. Comprehension & Composition

1. #1

My friend once said, “When my father died, I could not cry with my children around.” Being sad is natural and you can cry. It’s not something bad you should hide. Everyone can be moved to tears, even grown-ups. Did you ever feel you wanted to cry at something but you tried to hold back tears? Tell me when and why you did.

Once my English teacher said to me “Why are you screaming!”

I said “I didn’t mean it to!  Jinny, Lisa was screaming too!”

But my teacher said “I didn’t hear they screaming!”

I was said.

“Why did he only mad at me?”

So I tried to hold back tears.

2. #4

Have you ever lost someone or something close to you? It could be your family, pet or plants. When they died or left you, how did you feel? Tell me your memory when you lost the person or the thing first.

A few years ago there was a puppy named “Jin Do Li” in my grandpa’s house.

Our puppy was cute and strong!

When my kindergarten vacation was start, I visited my grandpa’s house

OH MY GOD!!!”

Our puppy was gone!

I felt my heart was going faster.

Because I was lost my special friend.

I was very sad and cried too loud.

For now, our puppy didn’t come back.

I hope our puppy come back soon at grandpa’s house.
