"오빠 바지좀봐,"하고 도라가 말했습니다.
"오빠 팰한테 온통 빠진 것 같애."

"어-허,"도라가 말했어요."팰이 다시 가죽끈(목줄)을 봤어"
"빨리,"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"팰 가죽끈."
"내생각엔 팰이 결국엔 도망갈 필요가 없는데"라고 도라가 말했습니다.
"맞아 네가 옳아,"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"팰은 무작정 나간 것 뿐이야."
pal runs away somewhere after seeing a leash.(팰이 가죽끈을 보자 도망가네.)
maybe he must be scared.(무서운가 보다.)
poor pal.

그날 저녁에,온가족이 자고 있을때,팰은 온가족이 일어 날때까지 소리내고 물어뜯었다.
"자거라"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
그러나 팰은 놀고 싶어했습니다.

"네가 생각하기에 이게 나쁘냐."고 아빠가 말했습니다.
"네가 거실을 볼때까지 기다려 보자."

팰은 매우 자랑스럽게 보였습니다.
" 내 스카프!"엄마가 소리쳤습니다.
"내 인형"도라가 비명을 질렀습니다.
"나쁜 강아지로구나!"아서가 말했습니다.
"팰을 창고로 옮겨"라고 아빠가 명령 했습니다.
"내가 창고 키를 현관에 있는 테이블 위에 놓을게,"라고 아빠가 말했습니다.
what a mess!(엉망이군!)
the floor is all over many pieces of curtain.(바닥이 온통 커튼 조각으로 가득 찼네.)
the middle of a sofa is separated from the main frame.(소파의 중간 부분도 떨어져 나가구.)
everything in the living room is so topsy-turvy.(거실에 있는 모든 것이 엉망 진창이네.)
who responsible for this terrible mess?(엉망진창인 거실을 누가 치워야하지?.누구의 책임이지?)
the whole family are angry.(온 가족이 화가 났어.)
finally,arthur is angry at pal.(결국 아서가 팔에게 화를내네.)
when mother saw the mess that pal had made in the livingroom,(엄마가 팰이 거실에 만들어 놓은 엉망진창인 모습을보자)
mother orders pal to be moved back into the garage.
(엄마는 팰에게 다시 창고에 되돌아 가라고 명령하네.)
daddy also wants pal to be moved into the garage.
(아빠도 창고로 다시 가길 원하는 것 같네.)
아서는 팰의 물건을 챙겨가지고 창고 열쇠를 찾으러갔으나 그것은 없었습니다.
온 가족은 창고 키를 찾았습니다.

no matter how hard they find, they don't find the key.

"하루밤 더 집안에 있어도 될 것 같애,"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"내가 엄마 아빠가 속삭이시는 소리 들었어,"
"그들은 팰이 훈련 되길 바라 셨어. 그렇지 않으면 팰을 더 이상 집에서 키울수없다고 말씀하셨어!"
arthur worries about pal.(아서는 팰을 걱정하네.)

학교에서 아서는 프랜신과 버스터에게 팰을 훈련시키는 거에 대해 말했습니다.
"나도 전에 역시 강아지를 키웠어,"라고 버스터가 말했습니다.
"그러나 우리부모님들이 강아지를 농장에 보냈어."
"내 사촌도 골치아픈 강아지를 키웠어,"라고 프랜신이 말했습니다.
"어느날 근데 없어졌지뭐야."
수업이 끝난후 아서는 성급히 집으로 돌아왔습니다.

"무슨 일이야?"
"내가 팰을 산책 시키려고 생각했어,"라고 도라가 말했습니다.
"그런데 팰이 가죽끈을 보더니, 난폭해졌어!이것좀 치우는게 좋겠어."

그날밤, 아서는 팰에게 특별한 훈련을 시켰습니다.
"오빠 내 가 이 막난이 훈련 시키는거 도와 줄께,"라고 도라가 말했습니다.
"지켜보자,"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"점점 좋아질거야."
"앉아,""누워","그냥 가만히 있어."라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"난 팰이 뭔가를 눈치챈 걸 알아"라고 도라가 말했습니다.
"팰,산책할 시간이다."
"팰은 더많은 훈련이 필요할 뿐이야,"라고 아서가 말했습니다.

그러나 팰은 더 많은 련이 필요했습니다.
아서는 학교 뒷마당에서 팰을 훈련시킬 계획을 세우고, 수업후 팰과 함께 운동을 했습니다.
아서는 가족에게 강아지 쇼를 보여 주기로 결심했습니다.
"우리가족이 잘 훈련된 네 모습을 볼때, 그들은 너를 절대로 다른곳으로 보내지 않을거야"하고 아서가 말했습니다.
" 강아지쇼에 오신 것을 환영합니다."라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"여러분이 보려고 하는 것이 여러분들을 깜짝 놀래켜 줄것입니다."
"만약 팰이 더 깜짝 우리를 놀라게 한다면, 우리집에있는 모든 것이 망가져 버릴거야."라고 도라가 말했습니다.
arthur wants to let his family see arthur' puppy show.
(아서는강아지 쇼를 그의 가족에게 보여주길 원하지.)
he is so excited about his puppy show.(그는 흥분하고있어.)
but somewhat arthur seems to be worried about if pal will do well.

what if he will do it wrong.(팰이 잘못하면 어떡하지?)
D.W thinks that he is still making a troble.(도라는 여전히 팰이 말썽부리리라 생각하지.)
we are sure that he'll do it. aren't we?(팰이 잘할수있으리라 확신하지,그렇지)
"이리와!"라고 아서가 말하자.
팰은왔습니다.
"앉아," 라고 아서가 말하자
팰은 앉았습니다.
"아래로,"라고 말하자
팰은 웅클였습니다.
팰은 묘기까지 부렸습니다
"훌륭한 강아지야!"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"팰은 굉장히 멋진 강아지야,"라고 엄마가 말했습니다.
"엄마, 팬을 농장에 살지않도록 하겠다는 말씀이시죠?'라고 아서가 말했습니다.
"창고에 사는 것 조차도 아니야,"라고 아빠가 말씀하셨습니다.
pal does well accoding to arthur's order.(팰이 아서의 명령에 따라 잘하지.)
pal even does a good trick.(묘기도 부리네.)
the whole family praise pal for his trick.(아서의 가족이 팰의 묘기를 칭찬하지.)
the whole family are satisfied with arthur's puppy.(모두 만족스러워 하지.)
it's better than we expected.(우리가 기대 했던 것 보다 잘하네.)
the whole family show signs of pleasure.(온 가족이 기뻐하는 눈치네.)
Finally, arthur's parents looks like he is permitted to live pal together in the house.
(결국,아서의 부모가 아서에게 팰과 집에서 함께 살수있도록 허락 하는 것 같지.)

아무도 팰이 장미덩굴 뒤로 달려가는거를 보지 못했습니다.......
"창고 열쇠다!"라고 아서가 말했습니다.

"산책할 시간이다,팰!"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
그러나 아서는 어디에서도 그 가죽끈을 찾을수가 없었습니다.
"오빠,내가 찾는 것 도와줄게,"라고 도라가 말했습니다.
"이 주위에 있어야 하는데...,"라고 아서가 말했습니다.
아무도 팰이 장미덩굴 뒤로 달려가는 것을 보지 못했습니다.

that's why he hid the garage key.(그래서 팰이 창고열쇠를 감췄구나.)
look! what is arthur doing?(아서 좀봐! 뭐하고 있지?)
he is looking for the leash.(가죽끈(목줄)을 찾고 있네.)
no matter how much he may try, he can't find the leash.
